i hope not. anyway other way to check the sensor? or only with dialer?



update :

if I were receive the call instantly the screen turns dark. Don't even need to put it to my ear. The phone brightness adjusts to the proximity sensor.

I will be picking up my brown G4 in a couple of hours can't wait. Still can't decide either m1 or starhub. I can only seem to find info from 2 years ago saying starhub wasn't as good. How is it like now?

Also open if anyone wants to swap quick circle covers or even a plastic back for the quick circle cover cause I won't use it!

I've tried all 3 telcos. In terms of customer service, SH isthe worst! Getting through their hotline is a long waiting game. Even when I finally get through after several tries of waiting > 15mins, I find that I get my answers better if I were to just go down to the shop. No more SH for me till they shape up their phone support.

That's Y they came up with Twitter & Facebook. But main Twitter for your queries thought it can take awhile for replies...

Finally they burn their pride for providing unsatisfactory service.
After more than a decade, a change of teleco is a fine refreshing
bit for those who bit farewell to them.

What are the flaws of G4? There will never be a perfect phone..

I can accept the flaws of G4 but will not accept the flaws of S6. No touchwiz ever!

I saw the clasy one on their adv on carousell. Was quite skeptical as well when i saw the pics as the TG covers everything, including the camera lens....and left only the earpiece.

I can accept the flaws of G4 but will not accept the flaws of S6. No touchwiz ever!

To me there are some minor ones like the laser focus probably hit rate is around 70-80% so have to really touch to focus and not totally let the phone decides for itself.

Other than that, its fine.

But for other people, flaws are subjective to them.

Yes, no perfect phone but flaws are also show stopper for some.

I too agree touchwiz is very bloaty despite they trim it a lot. G4 interface lags much less than s6 which i used for a month.

Camera wise, s6 tends to expose pictures more correctly, while G4 tends to underexposed.

The final straw for me to give up S6 is their messy app drawer. Now cant even sort alphabetically!!! That was a damn stupid design. Though can resolve by firmware update but i couldnt wait...

Made in Korea? VOIA is a Korean brand doing all sorts of handphone accessories.

So far my $4 cmei one is doing fine. Probably not perfect quality glass but i dont find any problem with it.

Likewise, I think for 4 bucks, it serves its purpose well enough. For those interested in getting, just note that the screen protector is slightly smaller than the front of the phone, and so does not cover it completely. Sensors are not blocked, which I think is good.

I've applied on the red one I got today, and I am satisfied. I don't see any reason to shell out too much on a screen protector to be honest.
