I saw the clasy one on their adv on carousell. Was quite skeptical as well when i saw the pics as the TG covers everything, including the camera lens....and left only the earpiece.

i went to buy the clasy one today as i saw the post. but nothing wrong with mine.

Anyway, just a quick share of my short experience with this phone. I got the red leather version close to mid day today. I have to say, I am happy with the performance which is zippy and I don't notice any lag, and the vibrant screen. In fact, I feel the phone is still running smooth even with applications updating and installing in the background.

I am completely blown away by the quality of the camera images coming from a phone, and have already found the manual controls quite useful.

Battery life wise, I reckoned it should last at least a day. I received my phone with battery life at 39%, and charged it for a short while to 47% or so. By the time I reached home around 7+, it has 21% left. Point to note is that I have been using/ fiddling with it a lot, which is typical when I get a new toy. Also I had to install/ uninstall applications, and play around with the settings.

So overall, I feel its a very attractive looking phone and I can see it definitely attracted some attention on the train home. Performance is smooth for everyday usage, despite having lower end hardware like slower SOC and memory. People that game on their mobile phones best test it out before getting. The slight curve also is more comfortable to hold, and I somehow feel better when I put it on my face when taking a call since the mouth piece curves towards your mouth. I think this is pretty subjective.

Yup. That I believe is the ambient sensor. I don't think it will affect the sensor even if its covered. Anyway, your screen protector seems to cover most of the front. Looks good.

I got the Clasy Temepered Glass from MobileHardware. Which blocks out the sensors.

Anyway just ordered one which fits nicely from aliexpress.

My friend also got the same problem. He also brought from mobile hardware..shop told him go back tomorrow .will replace another tempered glass for him.

the tempered glass i had is a cut one..it does not block.

well after about a day + of usage i can say the following

1. snappy device, after enabling developer options and changing to 0.5 speed, its quick enough for me. haven't noticed any slowdowns yet

2. battery life is pretty fair to good for now. been constant texting adn facebooking and surfing the net and playing hearthstone, getting abt 4.5 hrs of SOT. will continute to monitor after more charge cycles and hopefully root coming out. i believe it can only get better

3. leather leather leather! damn this phone feels pretty good in the hand, feels smallish for a 5.5 inch screen sized phone

4. the camera: initital pictures that i've taken have far surpassed my note 3, 6 plus etc. will be away in malacca this weekend, will take more pics then. so far, im impressed
