I have collected my LG G4 from service center this afternoon. My old motherboard was changed to a new one that starts with S/N 512 which I believe is manufactured in Dec 2015. That is really a new motherboard.

The phone is updated to 6.0 by LG which is a plus.

i collected mine last week. s/no 511 and still on lollipop 5.1

Basing on their serial number naming - 511 would mean that it's the Nov 2015 batch of main boards!

So I suppose 512 has 6.0 flashed by default? Hmm!

I don't think so. It is just that 6.0 is available to download and install via LG Bridge Software for LG G4. It is nice gesture that the service centre updates to the latest software for me.
