p/s: even though can bootup, the phone was laggy as hell. took me around 2 hrs just to transfer about 4gb of media/sms/whatsapp data.

in the future do whatsapp backup(google drive)? believe there is this feature already.

LG didn't acknowledge they found the root cause of the issue until Jan and admitted some misdiagnosis prior to that. So, personally I think only boards with the serial 601 or higher will have this corrected.

What is strange to me is you had the unit serviced just before CNY and they didn't use a 601 board but rather 511. I contacted LG as soon as they acknowledged the problem and got someone on the phone who seemed to be technically savvy. He mentioned I would have it changed to a 601. Really ****** up they gave you a 511 board.

Yay got my board replaced 601. Now my wifi toggle no longer blinks when turning on or off wifi.

Ive fired up LG UP and gone back to V10c.

V20a through V20c hasnt impressed me at all since
- SD card permissioning issue persists
- gsam battery monitor still shows logd eating up battery

2 months have gone by and i dont wanna wait months for LG to finally nail all the issues in V20f or V20g etc. MM doesnt have any major must-have features for me anyway.

Just collected. Has the 601 batch motherboard with v20c.

Any idea how to root mm? Is it still the inject root method where you need Linux?

Great choice! The only disadvantage of Nexus phone are the non-removable battery and microSD slot..
