How's the update compared to v20c ?

hmm does it gives u problem on throwing the ball?

definitely. no matter how 'hard' u try to throw a far shot it will not be as far as you thought. i have tried to use my g4 and an iphone 6 for pokemon go side by side. the iphone 6 so much better!
or pokemon go wasnt well made in the first place..

I have no problem with most pokemon that I have so far except Rapidash.
Golbat is also quite challenging.

I also notice that too.
Previously playing Pokemon Go, you can feel heat coming out from the buttons and camera.
Now i did not feel that much heat.
Need to monitor again

I think two different cases. Lg isn't obligated to recall cos no safety issue. In contrast Samsung recalling due to exploding batteries. In Samsung case, exploding batteries would incurr potentially unlimited liabilities from law suits. Samsung owns a duty of care to its users, given that Samsung reasonably ought to know that their defective batteries may cause physical harm to their users, Samsung is liable under the law of tort. Owning a duty of care, having breach that duty, exploding batteries causing physical harm a direct causation hence is liable for damage.

However, in lg case it is hard to establish a duty of care. Lg need not reasonbly have know that their product was defective. Did lg breach their duty of care? I doubt so, quite hard to establish causation to injury too I mean exploding phones vs bootloop phones.

In Samsung case their note 7 bootloop too but they didn't recall it, instead they recall due to exploding batteries.

Safety issues are always recalled eg fail brakes on car simply because unlimited liabilities from injuries of end users.

that is a safety related thing, like microsoft and the surface pro power cable a while back

bootloop is not considered safety related issue and it is the nature of companies to not consider it important enough to do a recall

its very easy to talk about 'learn from samsung' when we see a news of a recall but remember the very same samsung refused to do a recall of the S7 Active batch that failed the initial water submersion test and only will service affected phones on case by case. And then in other cases we have now Apple and their hesitation to respond to the Touch Disease issue on their iphone, until a class action lawsuit came about

also V10f here, i dont know if i wanna update to V20c just to find out if it is needed as an intermediate step to update to v20e

Already did so many fresh reinstalls and kdz flashing in the first half of this year in efforts to combat the problems with LG's marshmallow, some of which are very specific problems that even I dont know if v20e users here can advise on whether they've been fixed (like the 3rd party SD card write access or the logd system battery drain factor)

Come come let's all go buy note 7 now and bring in for replacement. Then we will get a new phone that pretty certain to be bootloop free and battery woes free.

I took the plunge. Don't need to go to v20c. I just update directly to v20e via lg bridge. Seems like the fixed the issue where by photo downloaded via chrome don't show up in gallery. Now it does immediately.

Battery life seems horrible though. Idling temps around 38-40 without load.

Battery life is definitely trashed. 40% drop to 8% without doing anything in 2 hrs.

Have your tried doing a factory reset? Sometimes a reset will fix the battery issue.
