I tired the following method and the notification seems to go away now. U can give it a go too...=)

1) Enter on dialer 277634#*#

2) Go to Field test

3) Wifi Test.

4) OTA Setting.

5) Press Disable

Update: originally I mentioned my model didnt work but it was my mistake, I was trying it on the contacts+ (my sms app) dialer when i should be using stock dialer. I managed to go through all those 5 steps already :)

Recently my G4 started acting up, it will sort of 'reboot' itself. It's not exactly a reboot as the off time is short, less than a min. It will go black then show the LG screen before quickly getting back to home screen.

Anyone else facing same problem?

I'm getting the same problem too

Do i need to bring warranty and receipt for servicing?

If got, better bring, or else they will ask u to bring during collection.

The person only look at my receipt even thou i brought the warranty down.

Ya, me too. The staff just took a look and verify visually, never photocopy or what. Maybe is becoz I already register it before I send it.

hm im still getting the notification... it happens twice on a daily basis, when the phone detects that you're on a wifi connection. Really wish it would go away haha, v20c is so bad I'd rather carousell my G4 and go to my Mi4i rather than update my G4 to it

this is one of those times i wish i can root so i can force disable the Software Update app from sending notifications, but i still have 1 month of warranty and am kind of tempted to squeeze LG one last time to replace my LCD with image retention

Saw one of those 'dark box' exhibits samsung is using to advertise the S7's low light capabilities, so took the chance to compare with my G4

73e6a07f9b9e84de92703ae3ed78c448.png

Left: S7 stock camera app
Middle: G4 stock camera app
Right: G4 using camera FV5, one of my typical go-to apps for photo

the G4 stock app is applying forced HDR. Camera FV5's auto gives it ISO 800 and all the chroma noise that has been my 1 year's worth of pet peeve with the G4 when shooting auto at any ISO level beyond 200

I'm also affected too! Phone just hanged and when I try to restart, it just hang at the reboot screen :s11::s11:

Btw, my s/n is starting with 508. Any experiencing the same issue?

Have to send to service centre for the bootloop issue. What do you tell the CSO over there?

Or they will know its due to motherboard issue? Will they change the motherboard to a new one?

TIA
