i feel quite stupid. G4 not 1 yr yet and base on imei or S/N, they can check if local or export set. why still insist must bring receipt. what if ppl who buy 2nd hand or lose receipt

This is probably software related but I have a question.....

Google photos. It shows that it's not backed up (the cloud icon in the corner) but when I visit my Google photos via the browser, it does show up in my account which means it's backed up.

Toggling the back up function on and off does not help.

Multiple accounts on phone? Ignore it, I see the same thing even on my g3, it will go away

you only need it if you havent register the warranty yet because they can use the receipt date to set the start date of the warranty window.

without it, they will use the IMEI to look up the manufacture date and use that as the start date, which could mean that your warranty window is pushed even further back i.e. you get a shorter warranty period (can be as much as 1 month)

Just went down to the service centre.... say 2 to 4 working days.... hopefully this is the only time i need to repair this phone....

I bought mine last October and the initial MB was 508.

Kena bootloop last month (less than 6 months of usage). Went to SC and currently on 603

Think there's an issue with my mainboard - unable to read sd card. Not a card issue as it works fine on other devices.. Anyone faced such issues before? Using 64GB Evo by Samsung.

Make sure the card is formatted as exFAT or FAT32.

Same.. I bought on first day of launch, changed mobo twice already (2nd time due to connection issues). Now see so many cases of 2nd bootloop, and my warranty expiring soon... If spoil really damn suay.. Now on mobo 511

It just shows that LG did not fix the issue. Just recycling board to and from korea by just changing the serials. The trick to LG service is not to go easy on them. Just need to whack all out. Spoilt outside warranty still can bargain inherent issue that is never fix if you are aggressive enough.

woohoo 2nd time uplorry!!! My G4 suddenly decide it hates me and turned off completely. When I turned back on, the LG logo screen showed up and then it shut down again. Dunno like that considered as bootloop issue or not. anyway thanks LG!!! MB starting with 510

Anyone know if 2nd time go lg service centre still need bring receipt?

Seems like from evidence shown here, the bootloop death problem wasn't rectified the 1st time around. It seems like LG didn't know what was causing it hence conveniently targeted the logic board for replacement. Then the 2nd time around, I guess there was no precedented expectations to produce more hence 'ghetto' a makeshift one? Whatever it is, I guess I will have to hunt for another brand pretty soon, jumping off this sinking ship.
