Regarding OnePlus, I can vote that it's case by case. Yes, I know there have been many reports of such bad services. However, my case with them had been well handled in the past, i.e., they sent me a new phone for RMA (1st time), which after the replacement phone got the same issue as the original unit, I asked for refund, and they refunded me in full.
likewise LG also can be case by case, there's some people who could get their bootloop phone fixed within same day, there's some people who after fix, still hit bootloop yet again a second time etc
i feel that usually the more vocal ones are the negative feedback and those who have nothing to complain about will usually keep silent
for my own personal experience I would also rank LG as generally positive as my experience:
+: Bootloop fixed within 7 working days. have so far not suffered 2nd bootloop
+: Faulty rear camera replacement within 15 mins
+: LCD image retention replace with new LCD within 2 days
-: The replacement LCD cannot handle the amperage of certain quick
chargers and they say nothing can be done as the charger is 3rd party
-: Marshmallow on G4 has SD card write access issues and they say nothing can be done because the issues only happen on 3rd party apps
its enough for me to still give LG another chance. My mother wanted to recontract and Get S7 but changed mind to G5 and I didnt stop her.
You can always blame the user.
Put the 2 slots on top of one another and the label wasn't very clear to me, which one goes on top, which one goes below.
To some it may be clear, to others, it's a guess.
So it's my luck, I see wrongly, my fault.
Yes, pls design more phones to put tricky positions and let the smart user be correct.
My other LG optimus pro, no need to be so clever.
SIM and SD card separate location.
if you are the only case of experiencing such a misfortune and the vast majority or ordinary users can get it right, chances are, it's more of the user's fault at being careless and not so much the phone's fault for being 'easy to make mistake by accident'
