Lol just kena bootloop issue for the second time... Bought on 31st May last year, hopefully still under warranty

Just sent my G4 in for servicing. Told the CSO my concern that 511 batch is affected and he claimed that not all serial number are affected :(. They will still check my phone and replace motherboard if found to be affected. Oh and quite lucky they provide a loan phone to use. I got the 4X HD, my old phone haha

Got my phone back yesterday. They replaced my 511 Motherboard with 605 Motherboard. Hope I don't kena again. Can you add me to your list for archive purposes? Thanks!

Found this method to backup your data before sending to LG service center.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdktORdU7do


- Charge the battery (might work with just having the battery working)
- Put the phone and the battery in the freezer and leave it for about 10-20 minutes.
- Press the power button (no ****!) and just let it start.
- If it worked, fast as ****, go to your file manager app and move all your files from the phone to the SD Memory Card just like I did on this video.
- If you have time over, screenshot all the important things you want to save such as notes, settings, bookmarks etc...
You could also download an SMS & backup app to save all your messages and call logs.

I even need to leave my phone in the freezer when doing the backup. Browse my phone with the freezer door opened.
