It spoils plans for sure.
Also a great inconvenience to both the user and service center staff.

I mean receiving stacks of G4(s) daily is annoying to say the least.

The good thing about the G2, 3 and 4 is it's ease of repair. All you need is a small Philips #00/000 and an optional plastic opening tool.

Once in, to swap out a board, all you have to do is disconnect a few ribbon cables, antenna cables and that's about it.

The harder ones are those of Xperias and the newer Galaxies where one needs a heat gun / tool of sorts to remove the glass back in order to gain access to the internal workings of the phone

With only one common symptom, how not to be experienced. Lol. You know what, they help the society employing the disabled. Visually impaired.

Yes, the repairability rating is high but yet the turn around is not even in the matter of hours. Its x days.

It's a moisture indicator - so condensation caused due to temp difference would trigger the moisture indicator to turn from red to white.

I wonder how many cases of Bootloop they have daily and how much stock pile of mainboards / mobos do they have.

Generally these are expensive parts, and in any normal service center they wont have that many - but the G4's probably the exception =/

Even though they are expensive, they are likely recycling them for repair in korea with their expertise there. Yes, they should be aware by now this is a global problem with the G4.

Usually a normal phone will have a few of these to see how far the water penetrates. Most are inside the phone not visible until teardown.

out of curiosity for G4 MM is V20c still the latest OTA update?

seeing as how theres supposed to be a newer version of MM or something (the one on the G5 with new GUI design) but more importantly wanna know if LG ever fixed the hideous battery life on V20a-V20c
