22 July afternoon, went to LG service centre for the boot loop issue.
LG CSO told me estimate 5-7 working days

My g4 rear camera stopped working. Keep getting the can't connect to camera msg. Front selfie cam still works though.

Additionally, my audio port one side no sound when I plug in earpiece.

How much do you think it will cost/how long does it take to fix these at lg? Warranty over Liao.

Was making a call on blue-tooth while driving when it suddenly died.
Tried to power up but it went into the dreaded boot loop...
I was already on daily backup after wifey's G4 went to AnE last month

Came home wanting to switch to my G3 backup phone
while setting it up, i realized that it looked "weird"..like center bulging..
Shut down and check... the battery was bloated! =(
Looks like the infamous battery issue for G3 also coming!
Suay enough or not!

Any one have recommendation o where to buy G3 battery?

So... i m now on my backup back up phone... Asus ZenFone Laser...

LG ah LG... why quality control so bad...... I really like to support you.... even Backup phone also dont want me to use....

Believe if my memory serves me well, it's around $30 , no warranty.

started getting this issue on my own device, sometimes power on and see nothing but vertical stripe pattern. Goes back to normal after turning of and on the screen again

dunno if its an issue with the new batch of LCD that replaced the image retention ones. Certainly wouldnt be the first problem i ever encountered on the new display

G4 is my 2nd LG phone. Met with a boot-loop problem today and it hasn't even been a year. Will never buy from LG again.

27 July 8pm, received LG SMS, said my phone is ready for collection.

Will collect tomorrow, hope everything is fine

So I am really confused now. I had my motherboard replaced to 601, which came with v20c on it. After which, I requested for the staff to roll back to v10f. This was back in Feb I believe.

Shortly after, my phone notified me that a new update was available, v20c. I refused to install it and kept it on v10f.

Fast forward to today, I went to the software update setting to check for updates and it told me I already had the latest OS. Checked and saw that I was still on v10f.

Confused.... what is the latest firmware now for you guys? V20c or v10f?

Is mine bootlooped? sigh. Wanted to use GAGT then suddenly phone hanged go to load up screen. But after 5min or so can go in home screen but awhile hang again sigh. the same thing just keep repeating MY S/N starting is 506...

Went to take back my G4 today. Didnt take up their offer to repair mobo because it cost $350. Nevertheless, had to pay $21.40 for diagnostics fee. Saw many other customers there with G4 problems too.

Can tell this is a very QC-fail series. Will avoid LG next time.
