I still don't get why are people getting S6 seriously... they remove all the wonders of removable battery and memory slot storage - which is why Samsung s6 sales fall short of expectations not doing expectedly well as reviewed by mobile industry analysts. Expecting to sell 300,000 units, but so far has managed to sell only 200,000 in Korea.

Having seen how phone industry has been for 2 decades since the shift of Motorola, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Apple, Samsung... LG has a chance to do well after seeing how successful Nexus 5 is. UX 4.0 and good camera works could be a turning point. Technies people should give LG a chance to prove it's worth. If really cock up, then duno what to say. :X
Because there's no viable alternative flagship yet. LG is stupid, should have released G4 back in March. Others including #hotcurves are saddled by the snapdragon 810. HTC m9 has a cui camera and no OIS and huge bezels. Z3 has camera issues as well and the next gen phone isn't anywhere to be found. So what to do? I'm on s6 now and frankly everything works great except for the screen that shows two screen tone... Hoping for the g4 to revolutionise things.

LG lost their way with the G3 (after the Pro2).

Hopefully the G4 will be a real flagship model and not a let down.

The LG G Flex 2 will be great if the battery life when using browser is better.

Hope LG has a multi window feature. Imo it's the most useful feature of Samsung phones and I'm surprised it hasn't been copied yet after so many years...

what u mean for this? LG G3 has multi window feature...but only up to 2 windows....

Why LG dont make metal phone? like HTC & samsung?

plastic is so ....

doesn't hurt to be one of the few left in the game with removable battery and sd card, doubt they can have removable battery with metal phones.

Nope but see from video... N anything other then Samsung amoled sure more realistic. Lol

Means POLED > AMOLED ?

It's like apple phones, why fans still buy it despite been the more expensive phone all the while compared to Samsung or other brands.

Fans will still buy the S6/S6 edge but lower number lo.

Fansees logic? lol. I don't see anything wrong to have different brands of products and supporting them, since competition can push technology further instead of being stagnant. In a household, we can have Sony TV, Samsung washer, Mitsubishi aircon, Apple ipad and LG G4 smartphone. :o

I have never tried that before though I have seen a youtube clip on that. Top and bottom split for two different applications. Big screen have an advantage. Maybe the new UX 4.0 will have that? Maybe iphone 7 or 8 then apple will catch up, they are very slow in development after Jobs had passed away.

Can I ask how come you're not on iphone 6 instead of s6?

Share comparison of S6 and G4 when it's out ok, esp camera. :o

Metal is seen as premium => High price. Like that how to snatch business with rival samsung. Personally, I don't really care what material. I'd never get to see the actual phone back cover for a long time after getting a case.

Coz once you switch to Android, you never look back. Switched to s4 last time and I really like being able to just drop in my videos via wifi without needing to worry about converting them to a format the iPhone can play. Plus 1gb ram is so 2012..

True for me, Android ftw! My sister prefers iphone though. So it's really individual I guess.

Yes, I agree with you 100% on that video conversion part. Drag and drop is indisputably convenient and totally a breeze.

As long as there is removable battery, I don't care if it is metal, plastic or wood or paper.

Even with a massive 6000mha non removable battery, it is still not enough to last a day with my heavy usage.

Now, I have 2x 3100 batteries. Let's say 1 3100mha battery lasts me half a day or 3 hours. I can put in my 2nd 3100mha battery to continue using my phone and recharge my depleted 1st bbattry at the same time and via verse. That, still has not included the capability of recharging the battery in use whenever possible in the office or outdoor.

I will never ran out of battery in that way.

Correct. Only power users will understand the importance of removable battery. But seems like most ppl don't care.

Haha!

I have sold my Mate.

Tested the 4100mha battery and with my usual heavy usage, the 4100mha battery just barely lasted me half a day.

Then, I'm stuck, I can't go outdoor for another half a day without the capability of inserting a spare battery into my Mate whereas with Pro 2, I can just insert a fully charged 3100mha spare battery and go out. Left the depleted battery to be recharged at home. The cycle goes on days and nights and I'm a very happy removable battery phone user and never ran out of battery juice.

wah seems like LG bet G4 on the 808 is a smart one (hopefully a right one)... because 810 seems to be under-performing based on this article...

Lets see how good (or bad) the 808 are:s12:
