There's right around 2.5 seconds between a double tap on the rear volume key and being able to take a photo.

So you are basically saying if you have the S6 and G4, the former would be faster at taking the photo.

Yeah, the Galaxy S6 launches and is ready to take a photo about a second faster.

light photography and the ability to adjust colour balance, iso,
to your exact liking.

I am sure the queue will be long and perhaps all photo

fine quality camera you can easily put into your pocket
and one that you don't have to use flash anymore.

And this comment isn't just based on what other websites have said. Having personally used the Note 4, S6, Lumia 1520, iPhone 5S, and 6, I would say the S6's camera is indeed impressive.

But LG still has a good chance to beat that of course. They have the hardware (OIS, laser focus, f/1.8), and seeing that the sensor is 16MP i'm going to guess IMX240 (same as S6). Now they just need to figure out the software side of things. Which is actually the hardest part to me. lol.

I hope LG will do the same as they did with G Flex. Preorder and allow buyers to have the set 1week ahead of its launch...that might helps to make it in May
and hope that thete will b leather then...not the plastic edition

No idea actually. Googling it shows that the only other phone using it is the Nubia Z9 Max. Same 1/2.6" sensor size and 16MP as on the IMX 240 used by the S6.

But can't judge the camera quality by the sensor alone also. Like the Note 4 also uses the same IMX 240 sensor as on the S6, but on the S6 Samsung improved on other aspects of the module, like the aperture for example. Resulting in even better image quality on the S6.

Ah ok, thought it was the same sensor as Mi4, that's IMX214

Not into camera, so how is this sensor?

Was hoping for a bigger sensor size & lesser pixels. 1/2.6-inch is on par with s6. Increase to 16mp negates the increase in sensor size from g3
