Haha yeah I know.
But that's like they loan it to you bring home.
Any shops local have it yet?

Not yet. Register of interest for the phone will only start from 15th May. Not sure if LG will have display sets in Telcos by then. :)

so far can see that LG G4 camera is top notch for a phone camera, any trial users can share how is the build, is it flimsy, battery life and is it snappy?

I think its up to trial users if they want to post their reviews on their blogs or any social media.

Anyways this is my first impression of the build of the LG G4. Do note that I got the metallic grey plastic back. However I was able to get a feel of the phone with the leather back for a few minutes at the event. To me, I prefer the leather back. I find the phone to be lighter with the leather back then the plastic ones. Leather feels really good and enhances the phone's grip.

Okie so back to my leather back review set, I find that the phone really has a good build. Even though its abit thicker than LG G3 or infact most of the flagship phones, it's actually nice to hold in your hand due to the subtle curve of the phone :) The grey back cover actually has this feeling of a fake metal, which have been growing on me this few days haha. The bad thing about the plastic cover, is that it can get quite slippery if you have sweaty palms.

conclusion on the build is that it is really a nice phone to hold and even though it is a plastic build and not metal, it does look and feel premium. You guys have to see and feel it first :)

check this website out to see the close up angles of the phone, http://www.slashgear.com/lg-g4-hands-on-leather-and-a-smarter-camera-28381076/

Nice short review. Saw your macro picture of the flower too. :o

Read about a Wong guy posting about no fingerprint sensor on G4, maybe he isn't totally wrong, just that his mouth isn't well tamed.

Then LG will consider putting that into G5 lo :o

Anandtech reported that G4 brings back panel self refresh that G3 took away. That should help with the battery a little more.

there is no perfect phone in this world. I am also saying his iphone6 has no ois2.0 and no f1.8 ....to me..the finger print sensor is only use for unlock phone..I prefer to set my unlock pattern so that no one can unlock my phone while I sleeping...

Camera comparison

[droid-life dot com/2015/05/01/lg-g4-camera-samples/[/url]

Some more camera samples. :D

Just as the one of the guys mentioned in the comments on this link. We request the trial users to provide a comparison of Lg G4, S6, iPhone 6 plus on the following situations:

-Daylight Full sun
-Cloudy
-Low Light / Indoor
-High Contrast scenes in HDR mode (Sunny with dark shadows cast in the scene)
-Flash mode
-Macro (with minimum focus distance)
-Moving subjects: kids, dogs, etc with the phones shooting stationary (no subject tracking with panning or tilting)
-Various video modes

-Anything else you see fit

Do we know if the G4 has the Glance view feature from the G Flex 2? The one where you pull down on the screen when it's off and it shows you the time?

In my opinion, I think LG G4 is quite close to S6 edge. I find LG G4 camera abit sharper. The downside is the color reproduction is not as saturated as S6 Edge however I can say that it is much more accurate to what you actually see in real life. I also took this photo in raw and if I were to edit the raw file, I believe that I will be able to boost the contrast to the level of S6 edge :)

So what do you guys think of the comparison? Just leave some comments :)

Hey guys, check this out. Someone did a comparison between the S6 and the G4.

G4 has a better (quicker) autofocus, colours are cooler (I prefer that to the yellowy tinge on the S6).

S6's audio capture is better.

Both do really well though.
