Ya, battery life of this phone is actually the worst of all smartphones ive used since 6 years ago. iphone 3GS, Galaxy S2, LG G Pro. Can you imagine when this phone is older, 1 year in, gonna drain 15-20% in 7 hrs of standby.

Coming from my 5.5" LG G Pro with 1080p screen to this 5.5" with QHD, i don't notice ANY difference in image quality at all. Nothing.

Battery life probably went to **** when they went from a 3140 mah battery powering the 1080P screen of my G pro to a 3000 mah battery powering QHD screen of the G4.
How can this be worse then iphone 3gs? I was using that phone last time too, dun think it's better than G4 leh

Can anyone help to verify if we can put tempered glass on screen if we are using a Spigen Neo Hybrid case please? Or the raised lip will hinder the tempered glass thickness? Many thanks.

I just got mine today. Currently, I've got a PET film on the screen and certainly no issues there. As for the TGSP as per your query, I doubt there will be any hindrance because the lip of the case is quite flexible thus, I feel it will easily accommodate the additional thickness of the TG. I have ordered my TG which is of .33mm and will probably receive in 2 weeks time and will only be able to give a definitive answer then. Do take note my opinion is based on the G4 with the ceramic plastic back and not one with the leather back. As for the case, it feels wonderful in the hand versus the slippery plastic back of the G4. Here are some pics.

Thanks for the photos! How does the case feel -- rubbery, got friction? Also, how's the thickness of the phone with the case?

You are welcome. Case feels wonderful and strangely, doesn't feel rubbery at all like those cheap cases one can get at the pasar malam. Friction as in grip, is excellent. My colleague bought the slim armour and personally, I feel its a bit slippery and design wise, dated. Thickness, not much difference for me. Very comfortable holding neo hybrid vs slim armour.

The problem with most of the spigen case on leather g4 is when u try to remove it, your back leather casing will alway stuck at the back.

Apparently i try it on the plastic one and it can be remove easily.I am looking for those super slim type tpu but currently i still cant find one.

I did considered verus too not to mention I think its slightly cheaper in price but eventually, I decided on the spigen neo hybrid due to its design. I like how it looks stealthy black with minimalistic gunmetal border. From the reviews that I have read I am of impression that both spigen and verus cases are good it just boils down to the design you like. Thor series looks more like spigen slim armour series which does not fancy me.

Way exaggerated leh,

iPhone 3GS and s2 confirm lose out with same settings and apps.

Screen wise, 1080 vs QHD is always mai hiam buey pai. But you if you want to hiam, there is noticeable difference.

Overall, yea, g4's battery is so-so, s6 (which I had passed to my wife) out performs it by 15-20% in terms of lasting with my same usage pattern. (And do take note that s6 is on 5.01 os and battery capacity is 17% smaller which are supposed to be inferior although G4 's screen is 0.4 inch bigger)

I realized something too: I find that it is best to clear all the background tasking app once a day. Effective in reducing those once in a long while phone startle/lag scenarios

Actually, the spigen case that I bought came with this warning on the packaging. So yes, putting a tight fit case on your leather back will be suicidal..
