my phone keeps beeping in the middle of the night while charging (after it reaches full charge). anyone knows why? it's very irritating and keeps waking me up. Cannot afford to put phone on silent as i'm on 24h standby for calls and SMSes...

My LG G2 never had this issue.

Did an update from 10B to 10C via LG Bridge, root was gone (obviously).. Used "inject root" method again and root was acquired back flawlessly. :D

Could be trickle charge or something similar. When it hits 100%, the charging gets cut off and then it drains below 100% and charging starts again. Thats why you keep getting the beep.

Seems like some people use Tasker as a fix to disable the sound.

Any side effect with the latest LG G4 OTA ? i'm hanging off updating for now, afraid might have cons.

Last time i updated my HTC the battery life went down.

Snappiness is just as good (better than the Nexus 6 that I owned previously). Screen sensitivity seems to be better with less missed detection. Battery life is the same as before.

Been charging my G4 thru out the nite mostly. Nvr encounter such issue.

maybe you installed an app that beeps when it reaches 100%

Fyi the beep occurs even if you set to silent. Dont know what LG thinking.

Are we able to flash those custom ROMs like Genisys on this? I tried another ROM using flash fire and the screen just goes black (and offs itself) and nothing happens. This is with root. It says that bootloader is protected though so that might be the issue.

Mg LG g4 is also silent. Must be some app that has been installed causing the beeping?
