If u are ok with doing a factory reset than this method may work for u in removing carrier bloatware..

do a factory reset > once booted after factory reset phone will prompt you to reboot at some point.. do not reboot if u get that message and instead, press power button at the back to manually power-off the phone and later switch back on. I vaguely remember doing that and it worked for me.

Am under Starhub and by not installing starhub bloatware I was unable to use voLTE which frankly, I can care less about. Hope this helps.

Stuck on LG Logo screen.

Tried:
1. Booting without battery -- it asks for battery with a question mark.

2. Booting with battery -- removed for 10 seconds, put in
Press power button, vibrated, stucked at LG Logo screen with blue notification light flashing.
After a while the screen turns black.

3. Got into the screen for Factory Reset
Got into Factory Reset by pressing power button + volumn down, and after LG Logo appears,
release power button and immediately press power button.

Only two options, to Exit or to Factory Reset...
Pressed exit because obviously I don't want to reset.
Then loop in the rebooting again, and screen turns black


Problem now: How to get my personal data out from internal storage? (If do this, I won't mind try factory reset!)

I was replying messages on LINE, and then the app hanged (or so I thought).

Then the screen turned black, press power button nothing happens.

Hi people,

I had receive PMs on how to root etc.

I will post it here so everyone can refer it here.

Not that I mind receiving PM but it will get quite confusing.

While downloading the rootedimage (its 4GB), you can download the other folder required:
LG_Root


After you got the folder and rootedimage, transfer the rootedimage into your phone internal storage.

Put your phone in download mode and connect it to your PC. (I know it says G3, but its the same)

After you got it in download mode, open port.bat and make sure to write down the number after com. There maybe different com numbers but choose the one that has DIAG1 on the same line as it.

Hold shift and right click in any empty space in the extracted folder(LG_Root). Choose open command windows here.

Copy and paste: Send_Command.exe \\.\COM[*insert your number here]

Copy and paste: dd if=/data/media/0/rootedsystem.img bs=8192 seek=55296 count=529920 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0

Wait until you see # again.

After that type "LEAVE" , it will reboot and you have your phone rooted.
