woke up this morning, decided to try my luck and call LG to check if my phone was ready for collection. To my amusement, they mentioned that it was and i went down around 12+ to collect it.

Arrived there, service centre was packed. Took 2 queue numbers, 1 for collection and another for mobile servicing (wife accidently drop her phone and screen was wrecked)

Collection queue was fast and within 15mins, i collected my phone. motherboard changed and upgraded to MM as per the guys here.

Keeping my fingers crossed and hope the motheboard don't go bust again.

Can't even boot in the OS. no way can see.

It is mainboard issue not software... update or not still will kena. just remem to backup weekly...

Well, once you unlock the bootloader, it has a line stating that the bootloader is unlocked at starting logo :( (before OS is booted).

Hi, I am new to this forum. Come to here when I google for LG G4 boot loop issue.
My LG G4 (H815) also kena the boot loop issue and has the serial number starts with 505.
However, I already have my bootloader unlocked and rooted the phone :(
Any bro/sis here has same experience and knows if by any chances Singapore LG service centre would still recognise the warranty?

Just produce your receipt. Think should be fine since cant load...

I gotta say I'm really impressed with the new marshmallow update V20a. My phone has been very smooth and snappy. Knock code and double tap to on/off is really perfect. Battery standby time also good only lost 2% overnight while connected to wi-fi

I thought v20a doesn't have knock code? What's the difference between 20a & b then?

Possibility of G4 Pro: http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g4_pro-7305.php & G5: http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g5-7815.php ???

Hopefully Improved battery life... Cant wait for CES in Jan & MWC in Feb for up-coming LG flagship :s12::s12::s12:

the one i keep seeing in discussions is this
http://techgadgetcentral.com/2015/12/26/lg-g5-leak-reveals-the-back-of-the-device/

main point of note is #1 screen is down to 5.3" and #2 metal body with iphone/htc style antenna bands and presumably no more removable battery

i actually dont mind a 5.3" since I use phones one-handed a lot and 5.5" makes it pretty hard sometimes.

it's time to go reverse to smaller size to focus on battery & screen quality. I think 5.3" is the best maximum size already. I remember reading a review about Galaxy Note (which is 5.3") when they first launched and people commenting how ridiculous huge it is.

Yea but at least samsung has galaxy S which is around 5 inch.

LG doesnt have a counterpart in that screen size which retains flagship specs. the G4 Beat is midrange.

The old predecessor to the G3, the G2, was 5.2 inch but G2 never had a proper successor that matched its screen size so I hope G5 can be the one. For phablet size, LG has their V10 now anyway.
