Just wondering, anyone knows how to reset the G4 to non telco set? Like changing the CSC to XSP like we can do so in Samsung phones hidden menu? Can't seems to find that option in the G4 hidden menu.

In this way, I can get the MM update over LG Bridge.

you can try factory reset ur phone. After that, when you first start boot up, they will ask you to restart phone due to SIM card setting or whatever( I can't rmb)

At this step, just power off your phone. (No telco apps will be installed.)

However, i do not know if this will change it to become "non-telco set"

Woop. Mine just bit the dust. Shut off and unable to power on at all. My Nexus 4 died the same way.. Using my Nexus 5 as a backup.

Nexus 5, great phone!
It's a beauty to look at too :)

What's yours? The matt black version? or the red or white versions?

I tried it before, it does not work. Even took out the SIM card and reset. Same thing. Probably need to change the CSC somewhere.

Indeed. So smooth with Marshmallow too! Yeah the matte black version, but I stuck a red Dbrand skin on the back. Looks real sexy.

Mine also went dead on new year eve. While charging, it rebooted and end up in a boot loop. Serial number 505 series. Btw those who sent in their phones, do they check receipts?

Sent from Huawei NEXUS 6P using GAGT

i didnt bring mine so they checked IMEI instead and asked me to bring receipt again next time.

Think cos the phone isnt 1year old yet, every unit on the market is intuitively expected to be still under warranty.

Hello! :)

Probably you can claim warranty by serial number / date of manufacture.
Since you mentioned that you are a trial user, I suppose they have records / paper work "somewhere".... so they may base the warranty start / end date on that.

cheers

Yeah its across the road from Labrador Park MRT (only 1 exit). Enter the overhead bridge at the exit and walk to the end of the bridge. Take the right exit of the bridge and walk down to street level and the LG service centre is ahead (there's fencing on the left but further down the road is a entrance)

I just got mine back. Motherboard is now 512 and Android is now 6.0 as many others have gotten.
