There seems to be a dead spot on my unit volume down button. Could someone verfiy if it is just my unit. With the phone facing u, using only ur fingernail depress the extreme left edge of the volume down button.does the phone not register 50% of those button presses?

Mine was the volumn up button been giving me issue. Waited till finally the phone up lorry and got everything settled once together.

You should be receiving the v20c updates via OTA within these few days, my wife G4 and my G4 both received the updates last night.

not sure whats the issue..but whenever i doube tap to on the screen...it gets jumpy and its like there's invincible finger everywhere clicking the phone..

sometime it auto click open an app

started ever since i upgrade to the latest vers..

i dont know if it was the fone or myself. twice my icons got shifted and i don't remember myself doing that.

Try it for a few days and see how the battery is.

I think those of us who got V20a or V20b have higher battery drain and inferior auto brightness (it will sometimes decide to slide down to 0% brightness in indoor lighting)

bad SOT on my v20b as compared to the previous v10x vers.

Has anyone who recently upgraded to v20c experienced sudden hangs which subsequently led to the screen going blank? I have gotten it like 4 times this morning already.

did the LG bridge update to V20C

my SD card permission issue persists, even with a full factory reset. Any file created by a 3rd party app still cant be viewed on the PC

The file that ends with '04' is a photo taken by Camera FV5
The file that ends with '5' is the same photo, copied and pasted by Solid Explorer.

All files show up as 0kb (note: files that already exist in the SD card as of the time of mounting, as well as all files on Internal Storage will still appear fine)

Regardless if i try to view the file using MTP (via USB) or using LG Bridge's Airdrive, it's all the same.

This is starting to become a dealbreaker for me because if i use the phone for photoshoot now I have to deal with 20-30 photos all of which I cannot move to my PC because the photos were created on the SD card. The only workaround is to rely completely on the stock camera app to take photos.

Did the same thing happened when u were on lollipop?

I've got Camera FV5 (Lite) no such issues. Pics transferred from either internal/external storage to PC via cable are all viewable on PC.

is your PC able to detect the device? As in, when you connect the phone and then go to Device Manager and see, does it recognise the device, or does it show up as some 'unknown USB device' item?

It could be something to do with driver issue.


last but not least did you try using different USB cables? It might be worth a shot, I had one experience before where couldnt detect phone on ADB then the moment i try a different cable, it could work

Standby battery life seemed improved, but not much difference when using, drained rather fast

Try to 'remove' the device from device manager, using the right-click-then-uninstall approach, then disconnect and reconnect, see if the phone drivers can reinstall

If the phone is 'properly' detected, I think it's supposed to show up under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers' as a LG mobile USB composite device or something like that.

At least you still can set mtp. Mine cannot and need logic board replacement. Mine is 505 batch.
Since yours can, maybe you can try hard reset.

V20C update

After upgrading to V20C, battery life has improved and the phone runs less hot than before. But still hotter than when on 5.1 though.

I noticed that battery charging has become a lot slower, anyone else noticed that also?
