yea now looking at the G5 and the 'Friends' im thinking does LG care more on hardware than software and if they invest so much effort on trying to build their module ecosystem will they still have resources to ensure their software is still up to par.
By software i mean more along the lines of underlying stuff, not the 'bloat' like preinstalled apps or skins etc which is mostly a aesthetic annoyance.
Bloat can be disabled, launcher can changed to 3rd party etc.
But when your G4 gets MM and realise that suddenly now you have a system resource eating up battery (google search LG G4 marshmallow logd to find out), when your SD card has issues with LG Bridge and MTP, those are things you cant disable or shove aside with a 3rd party solution.
