yep the batt kit comes foc. no pics from me cos i no have any other camera :O

anybody advise what to do for bad qc phone? the warranty say no cover minor imperfections etc etc, all these problems in qc add up is not minor liao lor, and the micro sd card corrupt thing i want to whack people liaozzzzz.

Do i go to starhub tmr since LG not open tmr, or just wait until monday go LG service center to complain? warranty card say need place of purchase to provide claim of defect... aiyoo last time phone not so bad qc one sia, call this a flagship? me is sad

sorry, decided to take the risk since some peoples say theirs is no qc problem
Edit: Actually hor if this has already been covered by youtubers, doesnt it mean that LG more likely to acknowledge this issue?

when i bought it, i didn't expect much on the build quality based on a lot of reviews. so i straight away put in a spigen case to hide those hideous build quality. what i am really after is the removable battery, buttery smooth UI of LG and the wide angle camera.

hahaha if can i will pretty sure LG can tell if the QC is good by batch lah, even the DAC not carried in cos of qc problems from what i heard from the salesguy and another guy also posted saying that.

Please forgive this noob, i have no case yet, waiting for spigen to deliver to my doorstep. i mean i can live with the defects lor, my htc one m8 had minor defect(sim tray issue) but i also live with it. Now is just trying to figure out why the DMANED sd card not working properly

I think my one need to send LG exchange lah, the chin not exactly flush, the button to release chin sticking out a bit irritating, now i try 3 different micro sd cards also can corrupt when i delete files, the space taken up by the file goes into some partition called system data and i cant get it back until i stick it in my laptop and format again. anybody else liddis?

Edit: Juz realise the headphone jack there the silver lining is not continuous, anybody else?

Build quality issue is all over the internet.. I hope you got deep pockets like some people here.. Just sell away and buy other phone when you are sick of it.

hmmm i like to live dangerousry jkjk, first LG phone i have leh hahaha, i want to believe in LG, just trying to figure out what is wrong with sd card, all my samsung, sandisk and toshiba have problem, in my m8 no problem leh.

You can try demanding for 1 to 1 exchange. But due to poor consumer rights in SG, most probably your request will be denied..

That's intentional. It's actually the antenna.

there's another one near the release button where it meets the gap, I believe. It may look at first glance like the chrome outline chip off or something but its actually antenna

ah i see i see, thanks for the clarification! ^^ i noticed the one near the release button too. Do you happen to have any problems with internal/external storage? when i delete files i dont get back the space been factory resetting and testing with other sd cards. no luck.

My G4 when upgraded to MM already had tons of SD permission issues for 3rd party apps creating files on the SD card, dunno if the G5 has similar issues

my G5 have issues with both internal and external storage. Give example, i have 1 gb of music on either internal/external, den i delete and i dont get back the storage space of 1 gb, that 1 gb instead goes to 'system data' according to diskusage app on playstore. I either get it back after restarting my phone or i never get it back. Tried to factory reset through software and hardware button factory reset still the same after various tries.

Anyone else have similar issues? or mine is just isolated case?

maybe try to clear cache at storage or use smart doctor at general settings to clear unwanted files.

thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately i have tried many times and doesnt work, it doesnt go under cache, and smart doctor cannot recognise the null storage in system data so... i am sad... dont think there is a LG flashing tool like itunes or samsung smart switch? preferably i want to wipe the entire system and data if have lg flash tool.

I think you have to go to the service centre already, your case sounds very specific.

If possible try to find a way to demonstrate on the spot how the issue happens, like show the storage before, then delete 1GB, then show the storage after.
