that is why there is custom launcher such as nova & action

While that is true, it should not be an excuse on the part of the manufacturer to skimp on necessary additions.

Else one day you're going to see a laptop with only one USB port, then people will come and say "thats why we have USB hubs."

though i like the app drawer concept, but it isn't a deal breaker for me yet. just throw all the unnecc apps into a folder called 'USELESS' problem solved

wondering if the fingerprint sensor needs to be pressed like iphone or no need press (like nexus?)

it is a refreshing idea to get modular, but the big question is how much do the gimmicky accessories really cost. if all cheap like xiaomi, then i don't mind owning them :o

on the smaller battery, i think a smaller screen will eat lesser battery right? so it will work out to be the same battery lifespan as a 5.5" screen with 3000mah :s22:

not sure if i'd get this when i can recontract in Aug because not v convincing at the moment till can touch the product and play with the camera... now v jialat, if want save money to get last year flagship also got more worse factors to consider like G4 (scared bootloop then warranty over GG), S6/Note5 (no removable battery or microsd card is bad move), nexus6p (pay ex phone for china co isn't v promising :()... really like squash in middle of the balls. if really all so bad and lousy to choose, then have to pick up the iphone 6s+ since iphone 7 sure v ex :(

Already mentioned it's a button + fingerprint sensor, so yes, will need to press, just like the LG V10. There is no button on the fingerprint sensor for N6P/N5X, so nothing to press.

Sry and thanks for confirmation, i read through almost all the posts since page 1 albeit quickly and overwhelmingly :s22: :o

i think no need to press better, then if need to press to main homescreen quickly can be an added-value feature

not buying it, not app drawer is a big no for me,

Just need to download a 3rd party launcher like what the other members mentioned. No biggie. The replacement battery is a good design for metal uni body phone. The snapdragon 820 should hopefully consume less power, so that 2800 mah battery may suffice.. Well, need someone to review the unit when it comes! The design isn't too bad at all.

agree the design is honestly not bad

actually, why people need the app drawer so badly? Shouldn't useless apps be uninstalled/removed anyway. Only bloatwares are useless apps isn't it :o we won't keep those unnecc apps and just delete them if they are crappy, so i don't quite get it about the app drawer debate :o
