I had try just now.. Photo not over exposed and less noise but a bit dark... Quite good in low light... Cannot ask more.. If pump iso in manual notice some part of picture will over exposed.. Depend on what we want.. Thank you..
honestly the general consensus on LG is that it actually over exposes. A bit dark might actually be considered good by normal operating standards
ever since getting the G6 I almost never shoot at Ev 0 in auto, always had to dial back the exposure a bit
even then the G6 still disappoints on several occasions. I had one very bad incident during an overseas trip where someone used my phone to help take group photo, it was indoor with window lighting in afternoon. The stock app picked an ISO of
700, when i finally got down to reviewing the photo, the noise was unbearable
which teaches valuable lesson about using LG. It's only good in manual. If you need to pass the phone to someone to take a photo of you, etc,
make sure that someone also know how to shoot manual!
Don’t know when the software get update to 7.1.2.. fix all those bugs.. sianzz.. this is LG.. hopefully after they change the TOP management will have improvement..
hmm well the management change did kind of worked for samsung
we all remember the famous DJ Koh (or at least last year during Note 7 fiasco he became a top celebrity) he sort of took over around 2015 time period which is when you see samsung move away from the plastic builds to the more premium glass and metal, as well as cutting down on touchwiz bloat etc.
the thing is, Samsung was already hardcore into smartphone competitiveness even before Koh. the best evidence of this was the Samsung SIII way back in 2012. Koh becoming president simply took that competitiveness 1 more step further especially in the department of user feedback.
That is one thing we cant say about LG, they've never been serious. Their lack of marketing, lack of speed in getting devices to retail, demonstrates this.
But on the topic of android update speed, I would argue Samsung and LG are equally bad. LG now is still on 7.0. On samsung side, supposedly in Aug they said 7.1 coming to S8, until now dont know did they deliver yet.
