My wife's G6 updated yesterday, beside having the July security patch, battery draining issue could have been resolved I think. She had been complaining about bad battery performance since the Oreo updates, but this 24 hours battery have been quite good. But again, it is just 24 hours, can't really conclude on that.

Referring to this software update?

After the latest update now my phone is called G6 ThinQ lol . Anyway the camera app seems redesigned and a few new features. I'm a bit disappointed they didn't update the always on display to be more customisable like V30 or G7
