Just installed latest OS. so far so good. G6 actually seems faster to me now. But RAM consumption has gone up.

Almost 2.5 hours.. Now 4.5 hour 48% only

So much faster updating via windows compared to OTA.

Don't knows if it's related to the update, my s health app can't sync my steps to healthy 365 app.

Just updated but found out that my Bluetooth will turn itself off after some time. I have a smart watch and my Bluetooth is always on, now if the watch is not connected for a while, the Bluetooth will be turn off. Still searching for solutions.

Just updated mine yesterday, took about six hours to download dah! Just realized that it seems to chew up more memory though.

did lg just stop rolling out the updates? i'm running on 7.0 however when i tried ota update it says i'm running the latest software. i tried lg bridge it says the same thing.

i have installed the update. Feel the battery drains much faster but if you don't use it, it is okay. For those who have not installed, you may want to wait for more listen to other's experience. It is not significant faster or better.

Yep, seems to eat more memory than Nougat, but since I don't run game on my G6, I feel there's no slowdown or whatnot.

yeah me too, was able to download previously but some error occurred and when i tried again, it says im using the latest software

Phone exploded and killed CEO. It's not LG G6. As a safety measure, don't charge phone overnight near you.

Extra safety measure. If phone feels hot, I don't charge. I wait until it cools down, then I charge. Applies to all phones for me.

Anyone using ihealth bp monitor? After updating oreo the bluetooth cannot detect the bp monitor.

No problem pairing with oneplus 3T running on orea.

A few weeks ago, I got the OTA update but it was taking too long so I stopped it when I left from my house Wifi.

Now I cannot get the update even through LG Bridge. It keeps saying I have the latest version. Has LG stopped rolling it out? Is there a major issue with the update?

Same for me... nothing thru OTA nor LG Bridge. Seems like they've stopped the rollout.

Is LG G6 considered a rugged phone? I dropped it on the floor 2 times. Nothing happens. Far more rugged than Xiaomi phones, although Xiaomi phones are cheaper.
