Mega store ... I dun think they have very good prices on TV...

Yes for fridge and washer/dryers, etc ..

The sale guys are very steady.

A pity their TV are a bit higher.

I support them by buying a fridge from them ...

Like that I think better to buy an external box like an appleTV or Nvidia shieldTV. Run those apps on the box.

The performance of the internal apps (Hulu, Vudu, Amazon, Netflix) is better than going thru SATV, Apple TV or Roku. When playing back 4K content from such external boxes, I have seen buffering issues especially for Vudu and Amazon apps. I guess the external boxes is more useful for streaming apps not provided by LG appstore.

Streaming quality and issues would depend on the type of external device you use. With Hdr10 and hdmi2.0 interface the quality you can get from an external device is on par to playing something via the USB ports. They give you more flexibility than internal apps too. Just have to choose the device wisely.

I am interested in buying either the 55 inch or 65 inch LG OLED B6T before the promotion end on 31st Jan 17. I do not want the free gift 49 inch HDTV. Can anyone PM me a good deal ? To buy from Courts, Best Denki or Harvey Norman ? Thank you.

For 55 inch a good price is around 2699-2799 SGD

Anyone know a good price for 65 inch ?

E6 vs B6

Is it worth getting the E6 vs the B6 for 65"

From what i gathered, the main differences are the 3D and sound bar (both of which I don't need) and the GPU or some chip that is different.

It'll be used mainly for watching TV and movies, so no serious gaming since I sold all my old consoles.

What's the current best price for the 65E6 and 65B6 now that the promotion is over (up to 31 Jan right?).

hi guys, thanks for having such an useful thread.

at Mega, i was quoted $2,990 for LG OLED 55B6T (after deducting all the vouchers/gifts and what not), including free wall mount and delivery/installation... is this considered a good deal?

i only need the TV in April and do you guys think prices may drop?

Thanks!
