if you really want a 55c6 or 55b6 i suggest getting a display set from the big stores like harvey norman. my friend just picked up a c6 for 2900 with delivery + mounting and 5 yr warranty!

Went to Courts @ Tampines, Harvey Norman, 2 other BD stores, Mustafa and most of them actually had no stock left, or quoted me 4999.

Is it a good idea to get display set for oled tvs?I hear that oled being newer technology has the effect of losing brightness with age faster than the others and also more prone to image retention than others.
3 months old set would be atleast 1000 hrs of display time. For a B6 I am getting roughly $500 discount on display set compared to a new set. I it worth it?

Depends on how long it's been on display, whether there is any burn in, etc.

Personally, I wouldn't purchase an oled display set unless the discount is really deep.

Brand new right now is 3.3k without free gifts. If you can get for 3k it is the best deal I have seen in Singapore.

Did anyone get the add on extended 2yr warranty? I am quoted 650ish for 3+2yrs warranty. Is it a financially prudent move to extend warranty for these 2016 lg oleds?
