yup it works in the dark as well. I close all the lights at night and the robot goes around cleaning as normal.
I don't know. For me, it is at night and some rooms the lights are on, some isn't. I find that compared to day it take longer to vacuum and at times it get lost. Just yesterday it seems to be unable to find base, it just stop randomly at the spot and say cleaning is done.

Got a 6470 series (same as 6340 i tink) looks good had one full run. Able to operate at night without much hassle and its quiet too

can navigate in narrow space so i guess thats what the dual eye function comes in handy.

I got the old 6340, my review is So far so good! Covers everywhere twice, no blind spot. But it can get stuck trying to move up the pedestal of standing fans, or moving into low spaces, or when moving over rugs. 9/10. Very good for $430 nia through qoo10. But the front brushes are wearing out quite fast, pretty distorted already after 1 month.

We have been using this model for more than 6 months. We are very happy with the performance of this bot. We do less manual mopping and zero vacuuming now. the price back then was also $599. I think it's a good price if you compare to what SG is selling now.

Hi thinking of buying this model, but if buy from qoo10, how does the seller provide warranty? Where to fix if spoil?

You pay a cheaper price because you are not paying for the warranty. This is the risk you have to bear. Anyway, electronic goods nowadays are rather reliable. You decide whether is the risk worth taking.

No worry! Just bring it down to LG SG and they will repair for you. Mine (I bought in Apr2014) having some sensors problem and they entertained me after I brought it down directly. I paid $130+ for replace the whole piece side sensors (left and right sensors incl 3x front ultrasonics) as well as to upgrade its firmware and English voice.

The 2 left and right side sensors (not ultrasonic) get scratches easily, so I suggest ensure no V objects like study legs with wheels.

Ok this is what I meant in my earlier post. The Homebot camera (indicated in green) is very low and close to the floor. It only scans forward and not upwards.

My coffee table the base is narrower than the top as per my picture. So when the camera scans the front, it sees the part indicated in red in my picture and thinks it can move forward till that red area.

What it doesn't realise is the part indicated in blue is blocking as the camera is unable to see that high. So as the bot moves forward in an attempt to reach the red part, it crashes into the blue part.

Similar problem with my shoe cabinet as the shoe cabinet doors are NOT flushed with the base and sticks out like the blue part in my picture above.

That is the only thing I can think of as it does not crash into my dinner table legs or into the walls.

But having said all that, my kitchen cabinets are also like my shoe cabinet i.e. the doors stick out a bit. Yet the bot doesn't crash into the kitchen cabinet. So I guess its still a mystery after all. :s13:

For the record I do use the brush to brush away dust from all cameras. Sometimes I also use my Philips vacuum to suck away dust (if any) from my cameras, and wipe it with my 3M dusting cloth. So its NOT like I don't maintain my bot.

LG Roboking is using 3 front ultrasonic senors to detect front object and 2 side curb infra-red sensors to detect side blockage. The bottom 2 side cameras near to side brushes are to detect floor. FYI

Your above problem same as mine 6360 model as it caused due to its height 8.9cm. That's why i just placed order for thinner cleaner from Germany for 6.8cm. This Paosecuxinv is from Germany and I bought it from Taobao for RM1499 (S$337). This model use all ultrasonic features (less problem as compare to infra-red sensor, also more effective to detect dark or glass objects).

Haha.. by right it should stop and turn away from these obstacles.
Last few run its working fine but recently it like a madbot. If no solution, likely need to stick some rubber padding around it. if not it will bang down my wall. LOL

Advise to those faced Bot banging everywhere or stop at one place after cleaned. This is mainly caused by the 2 side sensors (you can run diagnosis at the home station to double check). If it doesn't get better after cleaned the 2 side sensors, then I would see it may beyond cleaning due to the scraches mark on the sensors is severe. You need to bring it to LG SG to replace new side sensors (about S$140+). You can also ask the technician to upgrade its firmware since you are there.:s12:

You can see at the front side curb, there are 3 small holes are ultrasonic and at the 2 corner vertical sensors are infra-red sensors.

So you mean if I bring my 6370 to LG service centre, they are ok to repair/replace sensors for it with a cost?

Anyway, how long will be the replacement time?

My rk recently start to stop at a same place after cleaning whole house, without returning to base.

Yes, mine is 6370 model and they dont accept it over the phone when i ask them. So i called again and another staff told me ok to bring it down. When I was there, I just told them this was bought directly from Korea and possible to fix the sensors as well as to change its korean voice to English. One of the Indian technician said ok to do for me as mentioned above. :s12:
