Did you guys buy from local parallel importer or direct from US or Korea, i.e. Qoo Amazon?

I check Amazon, Homebot 3 comes with extra side brushes... hmmm

Qoo from a Korean seller. I don't see the need for an extra side brush unless your environment is very harsh on the brushes. My 2 year old 6170 side brushes are still fine, just need to soak then in warm water very occasionally to straighten them out.

i need to check if anyone has face the same issue as mine unit.

yesterday after i press the start button, the robovac came out from the home station and moves around the surrounding near the home station and it said "job completed" and returned back to home station.

i did a diagnosis and ask me to clean the sensors which i did but the same problem still exist. i also try to change the home station to another position and the problem still exist as well.

I had a similar problem after shifting it to a more congested home base. It seems like it cannot do the meticulous cleaning mode and will return to base very soon without cleaning the whole area... i have thus change it to zig zag mode and it worked so far....

Did you try to bring it to another area and start the cycle instead of from the homebase?

yes i tried to do it away but somewhere near the home station, it still moves around the close range where i started it and then announce cleaning complete and return to home station mode turns on.

I guess you can try loading the firmware again? Have you try turbo mode and see what happens?

For me I cleaned all my sensors thoroughly and let it try again and it works again. Try to run it in the daytime or brightly lit house so that it can read and maps again.

If all else fail then go back to your seller and they should be able to solve it for you since it is 1 month old.

Do share the results.

Keep cables out of path for roboking

I took out the battary for a day. Clean all the surroundings of the LG robot. Put back the battary and start the robot. It goes well for a while in learning stage but only clean half the hall (like only 4m by 4m), it goes back to base station without cleaning the rest of the hall and the bedrooms. Really going nuts on this robot. Did this a couple of times by removing battary and cleaning the sensors using Novus 2 fine plastic scratch remover, same thing occurs.

Is there any button whereby you can press and reset the memory of the LG robot? Or any button to press to let it go to true learning? Seems like it is confused and not learning at all. LG manual also did not state any reset to factory default button or learning button. Product manufacturer never think through that machines can fail or work abnormally and need a factory reset button to bring it back to factory default status.
