Sounds like an electronic pcb issue. Have u tried removing the battery to reset the bot? If not, try and see if it helps. Else, u may have to send it for repairs.

My Roboking giving me problems after abt 2yrs of daily usage...

Sometimes it will hang and stay at the base... press all the button dun response... have to switch off and on a few times then respond again...

And last time it is able to detect the small step into the bathroom but now it somehow still detect the step but when it tries to navigate and reverse out, it will drop into the bathroom area and got trapped there...

I realized that mine will do that too if there are some movement or changes to the furniture arrangement while it is doing its round... but i got no problem with it going to clean the area again rather then skipping some area...

Thanks for the reply.

After 2 days of usage, it seem to "learn" the areas and being more "efficient" in the cleaning process, returning to the home directly instead searching everywhere for the base during the first day.

However, it is still persistent in trying to mount my standing fan. There was few times when it tried to mount the base of the standing fan and it got struck; the wheels kept running non stop. I have to manual lift it and place it nearby. It seem to get disorientated for a while before resuming but returning to the standing fan again. :s22:

After all, it's the A.I at work and I can't possibly expect it to clean as detailed as me; going after all the small corners. Other than this, it is performing well. There are already chunks of dusts and dirt during these 2 days of cleaning. Perhaps my house is super dirty. :s13:

U can try placing an object of some sort on the base of your stand fan to prevent the bot from mounting it. The idea is to trick the bot in recognising the object as an obstacle.

cant decide between 6370 or 6270. Am I right to say both have the same function, except 6370 supports English audio? so it kinda save the trouble of switching it to English mode by ourselves?

Get the 6370 if u dont want the hassle of flashing english voice files. Otherwise, they are identical.

Do we have to off the bot when not in use? If leave it on permanently, will it overcharge the battery & shorten the lifespan? Thanks!

Unless u dont intend to use it for a long period (weeks or months), otherwise leave it turned on along with the home base. It is equipped with an intelligent charging system. Your lithium battery will NOT be overcharged, nor will there be any high electrical consumption. It is equipped with a high charge cycle lithium ion polymer battery. In theory, it is good for up to 3 years of operation. In reality, expect a little over 2 years before u see a reduction in running time. In any case, u can get a replacement battery from LG Singapore for only S$65. That is relatively cheap for a lithium ion polymer!

Seriously the prices in Qoo10 is the lowest so far... There are no sellers with better prices than that...

The only thing is you get someone in Korea to buy it for you & also help you send it over then it's possible it could be lower... Other than that don't anyone can offer you a lower price...

I bought the previous model & I paid a lot more than what is being offered in Qoo10... I would've bought a new one but my current one is still functioning well... Mine is the 6260...

I did a lot of research before I bought my 6260 & imho LG is the more superior product but that's me...
