Using this IMAK casing from Q10.... Matt surface for better grips and not as thick as those Spigen Tough Armor casings. All I need a thin and non slippery case. Easier to change battery as well.

Got the Verus case as well, it's well built but borderline unusable as there's just a little too much protection on the sides. Makes it very uncomfortable to hold the phone one-handed. Eventually went back to my Spigen rugged.

For fast chargers, I've been using Xiaomi's pro powerbank. 30ish on Qoo10, USB-C, supports fast charging as well. good stuff

Looks like there's a camera update going out to Korean sets, according to the V20 subreddit. Hope we get it soon

In my case, I'd rather put up with a little more bulk for added protection. Look at the IMAK casing that bro kopi had posted, it looks great and all, but note that the top (and most likely bottom as well) of the phone is NOT shielded or protected. Drop it and IF it lands on uneven hard surface on its top or bottom, and you'll end up with a ding or worse on the V20. I used to love cases like the IMAK one because they were so easy to mount and dismount on the phone, but learned the hard way the flaw I'd mentioned.

Now, I'd only buy cases that provide all round protection, like the UAG and Spigen one......the Verus Crystal case looks like it'd do a good job protecting the phone as well.

I guess these covers are for users who tend to drop their phones. I dislike bulky covers esp those that add wts. I buy covers more for protection against scratches. :)

Hope the camera update will reduce the oil painting effects on the photos.

I've been in this situation before with my old iPhone, I got an UAG case but never used it as it added too much bulk (which is a bit silly as it's the bulk that gives the case the protection in the first place). Ended up using a Ringke Frost super thin case like the IMAK case kopi22 posted. I figure since the V20 already has milspec drop protection, a slim case shouldnt be too bad.I've dropped my iPhone a couple of times and the ringke always took the abuse like a champ, I'm just waiting for their V20 cases to release as well

The Verus totally cannot make it for me, it's certainly well-built and the kickstand is neat but it's just too wide, and it's slippery glossy plastic as well. Just not gonna work for me.

Sorry been on Samsung too long so gotta ask this n00b question. How do we get updates for LG other than OTA ones? Is there a website that tracks all these?

Hmm I have no idea. I will be waiting for OTA. Not sure where to find LG updates news. Perhaps other bros can help you instead.

Don't think local sell it. I'm using dbrand but the fit is not perfect. There are some overlapping areas (cutting too big).

Always loved lovemei case due to the built in gorilla glass screen. With each new model of phone they are releasing, they are improving.

And in case u ask... I'm using dbrand skin as well.

I thought the UAG translucent cases are feather weights. I am waiting for the translucent red.

I have the UAG Plasma and it's light compared to the Tough Armor, I'd prolly end up rotating between the Tough Armor and UAG as and when the mood strikes me.

Can anyone recommend a slim case protector that does not suck? Also, should I buy the battery pack for 70 bucks or just invest in a good power bank? Appreciate your help guys.

Anyway my thoughts are since it's touted to have military durability then maybe a bulky protector is overkill.
