Can anyone recommend a slim case protector that does not suck? Also, should I buy the battery pack for 70 bucks or just invest in a good power bank? Appreciate your help guys.

Why $70? I bought at $40 plus battery kit from Qoo10 supplier.

I thought the UAG translucent cases are feather weights. I am waiting for the translucent red.

They're light, what I meant to say is that they add bulk with all the bulges everywhere. Dunno if the UAG is as unwieldy in hand as the Verus but I've got one on the way

Edit: aaand guess what just came in the mail. Really liking this case, any reservations I had about the UAG case are gone. Much better in-hand than the Verus, and it looks a whole lot better than most cases out there

During the all white screen test, does the top left of the secondary screen have a slight darken tint compared to the rest of the screen?

Mine is visible even without the test on white full screen apps. Just open the Gallery app.

I think there's a gap at that place where there are no backlight LEDs, otherwise it would bleed into the main screen. V10 had the same issue.

I've been in this situation before with my old iPhone, I got an UAG case but never used it as it added too much bulk (which is a bit silly as it's the bulk that gives the case the protection in the first place). Ended up using a Ringke Frost super thin case like the IMAK case kopi22 posted. I figure since the V20 already has milspec drop protection, a slim case shouldnt be too bad.I've dropped my iPhone a couple of times and the ringke always took the abuse like a champ, I'm just waiting for their V20 cases to release as well

The Verus totally cannot make it for me, it's certainly well-built and the kickstand is neat but it's just too wide, and it's slippery glossy plastic as well. Just not gonna work for me.

Dunno if a case will hinder the mil spec drop protection? I have dropped my phone twice without a case already, and both times the back cover flew off and ejected the battery. Dunno if that is what is helping the phone survive. Both drops were around chest height onto asphalt. Only the plastic parts got dented.

Experienced a problem weird problem yesterday. For the whole day, nobody can call through to me. The phone didn't ring, no missed call in the call log. I only receive the the M1 SMS for missed call. But I can call out to anyone, no problem there.

Thought is a setting problem, maybe accidentally triggered Do Not Disturb. But that wasn't the case. Just let it rest overnight, this morning still the same. So end up restarting the phone, seems now ok. Let's monitor for a while.

Anyway got the phone for slightly more than 2 weeks, 1 time this issue. Anyone else have same problem?

Reminds me of the weird issue I'd had initially with mine as well. The SH sim card inserted into the V20 worked initially, then after about a day, I saw that I was getting a 'No service' error message on my V20, tried restarting the phone but still got the same message. Even called SH to ask if service in my area was disrupted, got a firm negative on that.

I took out the SH sim card from the V20, put it in my Xperia Z5P and it worked right off the bat. Took my M1 sim card from the Z5P and put it into my V20 and it worked as well. I was initially bothered that I could only get up to 'H+' service on the Z5P + SH sim combo at my workplace (with V20 + M1, I get '4G'), but 'LTE+' showed up in other areas I went to so I went to so I guess it has to do with SH coverage (or lack thereof)

whts now worrying is after I did the test when i select the whole grey screen i can see the burn in effect I had on my V10 , allthough this time its only the second screen not on the main screen .. Guess the quantum screen still suffers .

Not that I know of, sorry. I don't think it can be done once option is activated.
