Same here. I always forgot to check whether it is connected to wifi before watching youtube. Weird issue..

These issues very puzzling. Like some people have it, some dont. Maybe you all want to share your router model to see any similarities etc?

same issue as u. it doesn't always switch to the right access point.

seems it is an Android 7.0 issue

Mine seems to be V20/nougat issue cuz my iPhone and other android phones in the house don't have this problem. Only the V20 keep getting slow WiFi and doesnt connect to the strongest signal whenever possible.

Can't determine if it's a nougat issue or V20 issue cuz I got no other phone on nougat.

Try forgetting all the networks on your phone and reconnect. Dont forget to restart your router too.

Sometimes a simple reset can fix the bugs.

if u do a search on Google, there are quite a few threads in other forums on this issue.

even for Nexus or Pixel owners.

I have changed 3 routers already

anyway, no worries if it works for you.

for the rest, u might want to try some of the usual reset etc to see if it helps.
unfortunately, mine doesn't seem to help, so waiting for another solution.

It happens to me to. Doesn't connect even when I stand beside the router.

I noticed that it always happen when I'm using an App that's accessing my 4G data at the moment. If other times when I'm not using any App, then when go within the range of the WIFI, then it'll auto-connect.

I have 2 routers too. A Asus AC88U in the living room, and a N56U in the bedroom. Have 2 V20 at home and both no problem connecting to the correct router whenever I am in the house Always get strong signal and speed.

Noticed the Wi-Fi issue for some time already. Thought the latest update might resolve this issue.

Some other forum highlighted it might be due to smart setting conflict.

I can auto connect to some Wi-Fi. Home Wi-Fi does not, so I use smart setting to activate auto.....

BTW how long does the Battery Charging KIT (BCK-5200) take to charge a empty battery? Mine charging for 2 hours still not full.
