Most likely will have to wait until 18 Nov or later. They usually release their phones here 1 month after their official release date (in US).

LG seriously need to up their game if they wanna gain whatever little marketshare they had. V40 was one of the first phone being announced during the busy October period when so many other flagships were announced. Till now we don't even have a date for the launch in sg.

They repeated their mistakes again and again. HK launch supposedly mid-Nov. Who knows what's SG's... sigh

Back in 2013 when I was interested in the Optimus G Pro, took it 10 months to reach SG. Hopefully the V40 lands soon.

Hopefully this is still made in Korea like the V20.

But the major con will be the build in battery, hard to replaced worn batteries. Which i find it to be important after my V20 battery now only last for like 1 to 3 hrs after 2 yrs of use.

The issue is almost all phones now using sealed battery. We can't find flagships with replaceable battery :( and it's a real issue. My friend's G6 cannot hold the charge after 1 year. It's expected but the hassle of going to a shop to change a simple thing like a battery is really mundane task. How easy was it when V20 battery goes bonkers, go to Qoo10 and buy new ones. Done.

Anyways, still *crickets sound*

Are you guys buying it if it comes out? The 3300mah battery won't last the whole day right of heavy usage? Camera wise I'm a bit disappointed with the wide angle which is getting less and less wider than the V20, back and front.

not tough to choose if its between made in korea and made in china.

its not where they made it, but how it was made that matters the most. My LG G4 that suffered 2 bootloops was made in korea too.

kinda sad how LG seems to have fallen off this year. discussions/interest on their new phones are as good as non existent

thinking of getting the V40 because of the camera set up and manual video mode but what horrible strategy does LG have, first to announce but yet last to release. hopefully it doesnt take as long as it took the V10 to launch here previously. considering getting export set at this point but like not so worth zzzz

2 months later im due for recontract and initially wanted to get G7, but however this model will be soon removed from the shelves. Places like RW and mobilesq not selling anymore.

I had G2, G4, V10 and now V20. If they are not bringing new phones to our shores, think really need to switch brands as their wide angle is no more their competitive edge over the rest. Now WA can been found in Samsung A7, A9 and huawei mate 20

Yup... here comes Dec soon.
While it goes on sale in US, I bet if it reaches SG, the price will still be as though it is the ONLY flagship in town that has arrived.
