airfilter said:c0oL, did you check if the fan was whining even when not mounted on the case? Last time I had this case which also made a whining sound because of the air blowing through the grill pattern, kind of a whistle effect... I checked the fan outside the case and it was alright, no sound. After that I changed to a different fan then the problem was solved.
Are you guys all waiting for potterhouse to respond about the fan monitor? I feel like going for MO liao...![]()

spoonatic said:ya i agree. sometimes is not the fan that makes the noise is the air.
My blowhole makes the highest volume in the night. Using old CM white light case fan. showing 2500rpm on my abit mb monitor.
was actually thinking of changing to AC silent case fan but most probably that wont solve the noise unless i cut the blowhole grills.

The bezel is A silver. Match the Lian Li PC7+. I did not buy it, Because I has two bezel "C Silver" bundled with my casing.

The blower fan not that noisy. There is a rubber pad on the support secure to the case to cut down on vibration. Anyway I think its really a good idea to mount a blower fan there cause the slot area is rather hot and cramp, esp if you are running SLI.hotspur_77 said:hmm...did u place ur arctic freezer wrongly??should b drawing the air out 2 the exhaust...
Yup, my arctic freezer is placed correctly. I cannot change the mounting on my MSI mobo so its position this way....abit weird izzit?
