sorry. haven't transfer anything into it yet. i will hopefully do it next weekend. nothing special anyway
still have things to work out before i do the transfer though
externals
1x dvd-rw ( black), 1x cd-rw ( plain)
1x floppy ( plain)
1x coolermaster power indicator ( black)
internals
coolermaster realpower psu ( black)
abit kn8 ultra ( red)
stock 939 x2 amd hsf ( heatpipe version)
1x powercolor x1600pro ( red, stock hsf)
1x sound card ( black)
2x hdd
1x ide cable for optical drive ( normal flat, greyish)
2x sata cables ( 1 red, 1 grey)
1. since there's only 1 31/2" convertor, i guess i will ditch my floopy and keep the power indictor
2. i will replace my older cd-rw with a black dvd-rw
3. i have a 51/4" card reader which i bought to replace a 3.5" one since i don't have the spare slot for it, and will likely go into it
4. my psu only has the atx cable sleeved. i got some cable wraps earlier, so hopefully i got enough to wrap all the cables up.
5. i gotten some makeshift filters ( white hairnet i use at work), hopefully i can find someway to make it stick behind the empty drive bays to reduce dust. the solo filter at the hdd rack i would think is not enough to reduce dust from entering much. however, it will be best if i could use better filters as the hairnets are of very light constructions, and unlikely to last long. so alternative suggestions is welcome
6. i'm thinking of putting some battery operated lights into the casing so that i have more light sources later on if i need to work in the casing when all other power source is disconnected.. however, i still need to determine what light bulb(?!) is suitable, what position and what size so that it can be useful
7. i got a spare 8cm fan i can use for additional cooling. where can i best use this fan, or do i really need it? i'm guess i need more cooling around the expansion slots, so i might suspend it using the space which would have gone into the blower fan
8. what can i use to protect the case from the elements of time? the ipa i'm using didn't really take care of all the finger prints. lucky, the externals appears ok, but the mobo tray area is
9. main thing i want from the casing is that i'm hoping it can last me through 5-10yrs. the optional btx backplate will be hard to get hold of if i ever need to get into that route. i
i don't have much experience in actual pc building ( although i been using a comp since 286 era), so any tips, walkthroughs or the like is gladly welcome. google itself didn't gave much help as i only see 1 person posting pictures of it in hardforums, and 4 other hw reviews which didn't help too much. hopefully the case transfer will go through seamlessly
