It's quite possible because remember after March last season our performance dipped drastically? We always only won by 1 goal and played boring football. I believed even then Slot couldn't figure out how to break teams down, but Heitinga organized the defense enough for us to just coast through to the title. The moment there's nobody there to organize the defense, we start losing games.

BGBR can say he was never given enough support because FSG didn't give him as much money, but Slot cannot since FSG literally spent more for him than Klopp ever had. Klopp had to sell players to even buy VVD and Alisson. Klopp's players were not world-class; even VVD and Alisson weren't world-class when he bought them. Slot bought Wirtz the "once in a generation" playmaker, Isak the heir to Ibrahimavic's throne and best striker in the PL in 2024/45 season, Kerkez the best left wing back in PL and Frimping the best right wing back in Europe in 24/25 season. Now Wirtz look worse than Luis Garcia, Isak worse than Darwin, Kerkez worse than Dossena and Frimpong look like Glen Johnson after he lost his head.

And the defence and passing coaches need to wake the F up or get fired.

Knn, crisis mode already, at this rate even top 4 will be a challenge.

Lots of Liverpool content creators are saying probably Slot doesnt know what to do, because the tactics never change and personnel largely the same. At least when we slumped under Klopp, he tried some different personnel even though his tactics were unchanged.

All new players come in as the best of their position but all is as lazy as f a c k.

Since we sign Isak we go down hill . They just walk around and show no urgent to get the ball back.

Klopp area we got Diaz , Mane , Robinson , Firmino and all midfield to get the back before they can 1 v 1 with out Central back.

Now they got no desire to close down and let them thru pass and Ailssion need to save a lot of 1 v 1.

Our new goalkeeper got no ball to charge out , he just chicken out and pace back to let brentford score a open goal.

Really this team play as bad as Roy Hodgson team. with our current tactics I be happy if we manage to get Top 8.

Even Carra commented that it was part of the tactics to get the players to drop the intensity to conserve energy and to reduce late season injuries.

Isak is known to be not as hardworking but Wirtz, Frimpong, Ekitike and Kerkez have always known to be very hardworking players and more than willing to put in a shift. Wirtz was actually one of the most hardworking AM according to his heat map and the number of challenges he put in. This is also the reason why they are all looking lost, because they cannot play how they used to and not sure what their current roles are.
