Personally I hope we lose to Villa just to push Slot closer to the door. I don't want someone who is disrespecting the club and fans to be managing LFC.

Even if we are playing Grimsby, I am expecting the same 11. But any respectable manager will put the likes of Gakpo, Salah and Szobo on the bench just in case things go pear-shape and try to rescue the match. But this is Palace we are playing, a team that we have difficulty beating even with our best 11. That bench tonight is definitely not for a rescue mission. So either Slot is so disillusioned to think that the starting 11 can give us a healthy 3 goal lead so that he can give the youngsters on the bench a runout or he completely give up the competition even before the ball is kicked.

Sorry, but this is not the standard of LFC and he is not fit to be our manager.

I think there is a difference between rotating players and not giving respect to the opponent and competition. Yes, the Carabao Cup is the least important of all, but it's still a proper competition. Not some friendlies or U21 or U18 competitions. If Slot has put some of his XI on the sub bench, at the very least, CP wil still be wary whether they will come on any minute. With this bench, it's basically telling them that we have given up from the 1st min.

give him big budget to buy new players but only 1 of the new players seems to play to form.
the rest not ready yet and yet he field them all at the same time.
sell players that didnt get much playing time last season like eiliot.
