Block and such pain is only temporary, your money is yours, your wife and for your kids, not these scumbags. Put CCTV. Might not even have artwork.

What is a five digit sum they lost if they may already earn millions from their victims.

To make the harassment and loan disappear you must make yourself disappear from their contact list.

They may have your address, it's their only piece of info left for them to go after you.

In their desperation, they will try to find someone foolish enough or con someone to run their errand. That's why if they can get hold of you thru runner hp they scold you, becoz it's their final desperate attempt not to lose you. Pls do not entertain.

Just follow the advices given. Bulletproof steps. Let logic prevail and suppress emotional feelings until the situation settles.

Hi all, I am NOK here too. Have been reading all their good advises here. Really appreciated which help me with my fear initially. Number change, bank account change, CCTVs installed and police report made. Additionally, friends take turns to be on standby waiting to catch any runners taking actions. (Day and Night)

I also informed some of my neighbours. And probably spread already. I don’t care face. Most importantly is face it and get my peace back.

Many weird ppl walking passed by. We can’t do anything on them if they didn’t do anything

If runners caught red handed by us, can I use canning sticks on them? Is it an offence? Cause I preparing some canning sticks if they take actions and caught red handed by us?

My advice to you is, avoid confronting the runners directly. Many of them are victims of loan scams themselves. If you happen to see them, speak to them calmly and ask them to stop what they are doing. Try to empathize, if you were in their position, you were understand the kind of pressure and hardship they might be facing. At the same time, call SPF immediately.

That being said, the safest and most responsible thing to do is to keep your distance and contact the SPF. Let them handle the situation professionally. Confronting the runners on your own could escalate matters and potentially put you at risk.


Please, do not take matters into your own hands. Let SPF do their job.

The more you need to change a new number same for your spouse so you can input in resume and start afresh!
I’m nok and I angry my hub for a month but I did talk to him and tackle the issue even angry him cause the very same day, he mia they already attack my unit.
You need ask your spouse stay vigilant and try to bring kids home before 5pm and close door or they’re in childcare if she is a full time working mum, bring the kids out for dinner then home between 8-830pm? Need trial and error the time and see usually what time they start harassing.

don’t open any media they send. Just change number else you no need find new job and start afresh , you definitely have financial issue that’s why you go to them, so speed up finding job and don’t go back to them anymore.

Yes good, keep ghosting them. But the police is right, they can't do anything or arrest anyone just because they're walking around your house.

See how the CCTV works now? It makes runners think twice! They usually alaready captured at the void deck lift entry point. Then your house CCTV as well.

Every CCTV tells a picture where they go, they can in theory be track when they going away from your block to even carpark, MRT/Bus stop.

You will be free soon. Don't bother about artwork, a bit of thinner/turpentine can clear one. Also it doesn't harm to put a BIG BIG "Multiple CCTV in operation" at your front door.

The Police have arrested two women, aged 20 and 24, for their suspected involvement in a case of loanshark harassment.

On 7 June 2025 at about 10.40pm, the Police were alerted to a case of loanshark harassment at a residential unit along Pasir Ris Street 21, where the main gate of the residential unit was secured with a bicycle lock and a debtor’s note was pasted on the gate.

Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from Police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division and Police Operations Command Centre established the identities of the duo and arrested them on 9 and 10 June 2025. Two mobile phones and two red bicycle locks were seized as case exhibits.

The duo will be charged in Court on 11 June 2025 under the Moneylenders Act 2008. For first-time offenders, the offence of loanshark harassment carries a fine between $5000 and $50,000, with imprisonment of up to five years, and caning of up to six strokes.

The Police have zero tolerance for loanshark harassment activities. Those who deliberately vandalise properties, cause annoyance or disrupt public safety, peace and security, will be dealt with severely in accordance with the law.

Members of the public are advised to stay away from loansharks and not work with or assist them in any way. The public can call ‘999’ if they suspect or know of anyone who could be involved in loansharking activities.

Now it’s the third week I ghost them. So far haven’t got ppl come to my house do anything. They also stop the harassment text and call. But still got unknown WhatsApp asking want to take loan or not. I blocked them right away. I’m still staying vigilant if any stranger coming to my floor. Monitoring CCTV all the time

Right now, the most important thing is to focus on your family. Give them your full attention and show through your actions how sincere and remorseful you are. Let them see that you genuinely care, and that you’re willing to do whatever it takes to protect and hold your family together.


Stay strong and keep going, continue to block and ignore any threats or calls from unknown numbers. Your peace of mind matters right now.

Live life, don't bother watching CCTV. Watch movies with kids, wife. Much better

It's been 4 months totally quiet for me. As much calm as it brings, just can't help wondering too if he will ever suddenly appear again & resume a "fresh attack" to my house??

Anyone faced anything like that here? Or is this a sign (somehow) that he had let go of my account ?? SIGH!~
