they wouldn't be issue 1 cent in the new series. these 1 cents will be collector item soon down the year . i had a box of these kept waiting for 1 fine day, which i can fetch 1 cent for 1 dollar.
this might sound crazy now but century later i be the one laughing.

You mean you laughing in your grave? Century later, you may not be around to collect the $1 1 cent coins. Further more, with inflation, the future $1 may worth the same as today's 1 cent coin.

Century later. The 1 cent may worth $10 or $100 and same to $1 coin. This is for the collector. Not everything follow inflation. IT products is one good example. So do not get over sold by these inflation theory and jump into some "salesman" trick by giving your money to them for investment.

Nothing attractive about collecting 1c coins. They are worthless. But it cost you almost nothing to keep them for posterity and may be prosperity.
