now that u pointed it out, realised i forgot to mention that with a lower tier gpu, the difference would likely be even smaller, so i dont feel that premium for x3d is worth it for most people in sg.

Wondering if which model is a better choice? Or perhaps there are even other models I can consider?

id go with the ryzen system for this one, the 13400 is slower than the 7600 in gaming yet the overall build is more expensive. u also get am5 longevity, which makes generational upgrades possible opposed to lga1700 which is as good as eol at this point (14th gen likely only a refresh). personally id upgrade the ram, cooler and psu, the 2tb nvme addon and windows key better to ownself source and install (dynacore has 980pro non heatsink at 180). in fact for the addon nvme, if u r using it as a secondary drive rather than a boot drive, spending big bucks on a top tier one like the 980pro would be wasted, u will be served just as well with a basic but fast enough one like the adata legend 850 lite for less than half the invaderpc quoted price.

3080 once a top tier now lower its tier to mid range after 3 years.

I got the 5900x which is fairly competitve to 7700x in multicore benchmarks, but the experience in gaming still 5800x3D more pleasant surprised as I can really see the 1% pump up immediately.

another good things was my 5800x3D only up to 1.16v for gaming and the heat dump is also much cooler than 5900x 12 core cpu at 1.45v for that higher boost clock yet still unable to bring up the true potential of the 3080 in 1% low.

Please note that before you upgrade the parts through Invader, have a look at online pricing and also SLS pricelists. In some cases, the upgrades costs way higher than the original cost of the upgraded part.

Example: One build originally had a case valued at $23X in SLS pricelist. When I wanted another case selling for half the price locally i.e $12X, the upcharge was $6X. The new case I wanted was something they have in stocks for other builds as well so I didn't understand why it costs me so much.

Overall there is some savings once you take the individual part cost in pricelists and add them up to compare against the pre-builts. However, the moment you want to upgrade here and there, that savings diminishes. In view of this, I have decided to build on my own even though I have never done one before.

I would say best deal in terms of $ saved but not necessary in terms of full performance.
There are weak points right otherwise how will they earn $?
So typically they will provide a less than ideal PSU/MB/RAM etc. Headline will be the GPU/CPU front and big to attract buyers. If you are ok with it, yeah sure but must keep eyes open big big.
Once you go into quality of individual parts, then you will become like me. DIY and build haha.

used to DIY and buy most parts from online platforms, except for the MB and CPU which i bought at SLS. the total savings were at most $200++ only.

I won't be surprised if some of the SLS shops share inventory. Cut down a lot on costs.

I got see people enquire about parts and ask for best price. They hear the quote they say nvm and wanna walk away then suddenly best price change become best best price. Funny la.

But i did encounter not being able to get the MSI 4090 Suprim X, Whole Sim Lim no stock according to the shops and on backorder since June.

How come your pricing is so much higher than the same build TS quoted from invader?? What is the pricing without windows 11 key?

On another note, your upgrades are good choices. If I may add, ask them to change the cpu cooler as well. Thermalright PA120 SE/non-SE and PS120 SE is pretty much unbeatable in terms of value/performance right now
