losing weight

thought of creating a thread to consolidate about losing weight.

apart from exercise, strict diet, reduce of soda/sugar, what else really works?
- example: i exercise 3-4 times per week. badminton, yoga, walking, kickboxing
- no carbo intake at all
- diet only vegetable, chicken breast, milk, eggs,
- tried Inter Fast

what else really works for you, fat freezing or medication? :(

Eh, doesn’t matter which method.

so long negative calories intake, will lose weight.

I lose 40kg before. What worked for me was intermittent fasting 18/6 + moderate activity level
Did u manage to maintain that 40kg loss or u regained the weight? Coz after 2 decades of weight loss experience, I conclude the bigger challenge is in maintaining the weight loss than actually losing it.

I maintained for 1+ years...Maintenance is easy with IF

well done

I'm on IF too but somehow, it just dont work for me.
Or yet to see results..
I had to stop because I was looking too skiny liao.. Its an effective method for me..My go to strategy

I did 20/4 or 18/6. Basically lunch and dinner only.. Then after dinner no food till next day.

so during these 4 or 6, you had rice or carbo intake?

apparently, i also on IF, i dont take carbo.
Morning slight breakfast: milk with cereal
Lunch: Chicken breast, corn, carrots

occasionally, will eat some fruits.
Exercise wise: Monday Yoga, Wed & sat badminton, Thurs Piloxing

wanted to know where did i go wrong..

apparently, it dont work for me..

tried apple vinegar & other supplements..

milk and cereal you go check how much carbs are there inside pls.

If you really have been HONESTLY following what you ate that you wrote for a few months and yet still gain weight, then you probably want to go have a check on your thyroid health. OR you are not totally honest about what you ate.

i did a body check and blood test, so far its ok.

ok, i do eat buffet like once a month..
on weekend, i do take other form of food but also follow IF..

Im pretty sure your wkend food intake pretty much erased whatever caloric deficit you had on the wkdays.
