Lousy Computer Power Supply to avoid - OCZ!

OCZ 600MXSP 600W, module design.

I use this power supply less than 4 years, but spoiled 3 times!

And it spoiled my Graphic card once and spoiled my mother board once!

Yesterday just headed back to Ban Leong, lucky OCZ was already discontinue such product, now replace with a cooler master 650W 80plus Bronze. Hope such bad experience won't happen again with CM.

Next time can consider investing in a proper Seasonic, FSP or Corsair

Most likely his PSU Explode and burn all this MOBO/HDD/GPU etc.

Not all OCZ and CM PSUs suck, but I'd avoid them. Same for Andyson.

Generally I'd only recommend Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, Superflower/Kingwin, and Silverstone. FSP is only for budget users, their PSU quality are still a cut below the other brands. Enermax seems ok in the recent years.

I still largely look at the model and OEM behind the PSU. Nowadays, Seasonic, Delta, Superflower, and some CWTs.

Never ever try to save few bucks by getting a cheaper PSU. Totally not worth it.

I have never trusted OCZ for PSU anyway.

Get a Seasonic, FSP or Corsair. Avoid Coolermaster too

OCZ PSUs of today aren't too bad, but for the lolz you can try Googling for the reviews of products before 2010.

Thanks for the advice. Last time this pcs of OCZ cost me 140 SGD, not cheap at all, but quality really suck like hell. Once my 5 yr warranty expire, I will definitely choose the best brand available.
