lychee has to eat at sink area. Peel open, the sugary juice will spill everywhere

Normally I peel and un-seed all first, and my children eat without fuss.

This kind is use the out of fashion lychee variety. The very dark red skin variety with huge seed. Near the seed has very tough fibre. Mountains full of this variety plantations left to rot on trees in guangzhou.

The labour cost to harvest is higher than the wholesale price. Wholesalers buy in at 1 rmb per half kg.
