M1 5G is here!

I got a SMS and email notifications from them yesterday.
Stating "True 5G is now activated for FREE in your plan".
But only free for 6 mths, wonder what are the charges like after the free trial?

Anyway, no significant diff compare to 4G, still monitoring.
Also battery seems to drain faster on 5G (maybe is just me).

So M1 auto activate people mobile plan with 5G but also want to charge people.... last time is self opt in... they really sneaky.

Can see in the M1+ app:
5Go Access free till Jun 2024. last paragraph stated:
"You will be able to unsubscribe to 5Go Access after FREE promotional period. A reminder will be sent to you prior to being charged."
Let see if they did send me a reminder to unsubscribe.

I switch to 5G to play for a couple of hours, didn't see any real benefits, back on 4G for better coverage.

No volte too… airplane mode 5G show then gone and stuck at 4G
