is there anyone who tried to sign up static IP for M1 Broadband ? Went down to M1 shop and said that there is no static IP address service anymore and I need to sign up a 3rd party static IP address ?

This has been mentioned before.

They no longer offer this service - i changed over from Singtel to M1.
When i checked with CS on the day of sign-up, upfront told me no longer being offered.

Tried again with CS over the phone - confirmed no longer being offered.

I'm existing m1 500mbps user. Want to ask the forumers experience. If I upgrade to 3gbps, do I have to make an appointment to change ont? Or existing ont can support? Then I pick up the free router from their m1 shop?

ONT certainly needs to be changed as it is on the new XGS-PON.

In my case upgrading from 1gbps > 3gbps , router delivered to my house first. Then, on a separate day, new ONT delivered, installed and new plan activated on the spot.

Currently on their 1Gbps plan wondering is the TP-Link AX73 in place is the bottleneck for the wifi speed. I am getting 498 - 505 max from the M1 Macbook Pro sitting beside the router.
Any advice?

Even if you buy a super exp router, nothing literally nothing on your macbook requires >100mbps bandwidth to function fully.

This pursuit of bandwidth is only for those who dont understand how much bandwidth devices actually use.

And yes. I have a 6gbps BB plan , but using 1Gbps port router. I absolutely dont lose out on anything.

FYI 4k video streaming only uses 20mbps.

Guess is the same as buying a super car and wanting to max the speed but only driving it to the supermarket for shopping :ROFLMAO:

Why recontract for 6gbps is worse off than new customer. Last time m1 always same price. Does anyone know if cee 2025 now on site have better price for recontract customers?

Hi guys, can I seek your advise? My m1 1gbps is expiring in August and I am evaluating my options. I am using ax86u and all is good.

I used my ax86u for four years soon already so was thinking of recontracting but I saw seems like be92u is not reliable. Is there any other Asus modem options I can go for that has good 2.4ghz wifi coverage as my ax86u?

Previously before April, M1 offered recontract customer cheaper rate at $32.90 for 6gbps plan.

thanks i saw this also but not sure if i head down they will say recontract is different price. There put terms and conditions apply
Try to recontract online and see at the checkout page if you can see offer/promotion that you can apply.
I got additional $15 off offer making my recontract price the same as new signup.
