Yes. During sign-up, they gave me a new number for the mobile SIM card (5G). I am not sure whether it is additional line or meant as a replacement line.

So far I've not been using it as I don't want to risk paying excess charges.
that's weird, when i re-contracted, the mobile broadband SIM number remains the same.
Hopefully, it is just their web interface showing you new number, by right it shouldn't change.

Guys…. Where to select the option for BE230? I am already at the review order page but didn’t see the option to select BE230

Should I get BE805 or BT10, currently I have 2 xiaomi ax9000 as mesh

6Gbps new sign-up or recontract offer, right?

If you don't want to change the setup (keep using the Xiaomi AX9000 mesh), and you want to sell the bundled router to offset the subscription price, Asus ZenWiFi BT10 two-pack seems to be a better option even with the S$12 per month top-up.

If you want to keep the Xiaomi mesh but also want to upgrade the main router, you may want to go with Archer BE805. Of course you can also top-up for Asus and then sell them at S$750+, then buy back the Archer BE805 for S$300+ to gain more, if you don't mind the hassle.

If you want to ditch the Xiaomi mesh and upgrade to a better mesh solution, then Asus ZenWiFi BT10 (2-pack) is better.

If it is for 10Gbps, then of course it is better to get the Asus ZenWiFi BT10 two-pack no matter which way you want to go, since no need to top-up.

but after 2years back to $40.65?

Same for M1 6Gbps offer (S$34.90 per month for new users, or S$32.90 per month recontract offer for eligible existing users) where the usual price is much higher at S$95 per month.

SingTel 5Gbps recontract offer is at S$29.90 (targeted offer) but the price will revert to S$95.90 per month.

I will say no need to worry too much about two years later where the prices of XGS-PON based plans including 10Gbps plan will have the effective price dropping further (same price with better router bundle, or lower pricing with similar grade router bundle).

Just need to remember to recontract or move out at the end of the contract.

So far only Starhub 5Gbps plan pricing is reported to keep the same at S$29.55 per month after contract expires.

I believe no more 1Gbps plan two years later from any ISPs. M1 is the last ISP to offer 1Gbps plan now.

I tend to believe M1 will remove 1Gbps and 2.5Gbps plan next year.

M1 3Gbps/6Gbps/10Gbps are said to be available to all users in July 2025 as per one of the recent posts in this thread.

Waiting for them to update the system..

I feel for most people, this is the better deal than 6gbps.

1gbps and 6gbps unlikely to have any real world difference in typical usage experience for most people that mainly consume social media content and video streaming.

Actually I feel that the 6Gbps plan is the better deal if you have the recontract offer.

Those who managed to get the recontract offer of 6Gbps at $32.90/mth with the BE805 is awesome. If you don't need the router, you can sell it off at more than $300. Then the monthly subscription will be less than $20.

6Gbps at $34.90 for new sign ups is also better imo. Even if you don't need the speed, it is still more worthwhile with the description above.

The 1Gbps deal is $24.90/mth for recontract customers and it comes with a low value router which can be found on Carousell for about $60. Selling it off and the plan will still be more than $20/mth.

M1 price dropped

HomePac 1Gbps plan

Recontract -$24.90/mth
New line - $29.90 /mth

HomePac 2.5Gbps plan
Recontract - $29.90/mth
New line - $39.90 /mth

HomePac 3Gbps plan
Recontract - $40.90 /mth
New line - $40.90 /mth

HomePac 6Gbps plan
Recontract - $47.90/mth ($32.90 to some subscribers only)
New line - $34.90/mth

HomePac 10Gbps plan
Recontract - $63.90/mth
New line - $55.90/mth

Nice.

Recontract: 3Gbps plan is the worst now.

New line: 2.5Gbps/3Gbps plan are the worst now. 6Gbps plan best value.

10Gbps is also no point compared to 6Gbps.

Minor updates for M1 10Gbps plan:
HomePac 6Gbps plan
Recontract - $47.90/mth ($32.90 to some subscribers only)
New line - $34.90/mth

HomePac 10Gbps plan
Recontract - $63.90/mth ($50.90 to some subscribers only)
New line - $55.90/mth

The free EX520 is totally not worth S$60...

Archer BE230 is way better and some users get it at S$80+.

Archer AX72 is also way better than EX520.

I still have 1 more year before plan expire. Hope will drop further.

Tell you all already, the price will get better and better.

I think maybe because their customer service received calls about the price 😂
