Ah wise,

Honestly hope that M1 will knock down the price of your 300Mbps plan to attract more customers to sign up. Thinking of jumping to M1 but I am not sure whether there is any case in M1 where Open Net never show up during ONT port 2 activation date. If I am to sign M1, how do I ensure that the activation of port 2 and M1 installation go smoothly as promised? Every weekend I will use M1 at my father's home and so far so good. No different from ST fibre BB.

I've got a problem

upgrading from 100mbps to 200mbps requires me to upgrade n activate the ONT, which I have to pay?! I wasn't told of this before I upgrade n recontract!!

Can you share your international speed test like Japan, Hong kong and USA?

Check whether the network card in your desktop is 10/100Mbps or Gigabit ...

Looks like m1 is having some problems with the US east coast today. Speeds down and packet loss is up.

But why not just take 200Mbps? Do you really need 300Mbps or even 1Gbps?

I am now using ST 200M and never use 300M before so would like to try it out to get some experience. M1 300M is same price as ST 300M but ST 200M is cheaper than M1 200M during IT show.

It will be nice if m1 does offer higher speeds and better routings :)

If ur desktop has 1000mbps port, try changing to a cat5e cable and see if problem does persist

To check just go to control parcel > Network > then click on ethernet > then you see your network connection with the speed there. If it shows 100Mbps, then fellow Ah Wise's screen shot to change the setting. Hope it helps.
