LG 32UN650-W no USB-C port as now I connect with my Dell 2k monitor, waiting for a OLED or mini-LED monitor with USB-C port and a standard stand, not those inverted V gaming type stand.

Yes, the LG 32UN650-W doesn't come with USB-C/Thunderbolt ports at all, only HDMI.

What are the real-world advantages of USB-C/Thunderbolt ports over HDMI though?
HDMI is already more than capable of supporting a 4K display at 60Hz.
Unless we're talking about daisy-chaining 2 displays? Or powering a Macbook?

I'm waiting for a 32" 4K OLED/mini-LED display...having the blackest blacks is always nice!
Don't need a gaming one, so I hope they'll focus on image quality over speed.
And a nice Apple-inspired design to sweeten the deal please.

Should i upgraded to the M2 Pro Mac mini Base model?

I’ve been using the M1 16gb Mac mini for the last 3 years.

That‘s funny cuz here I am with my M2 16GB Mac Mini, thinking that I should’ve gotten the M1 16GB Mac Mini when it first came out, cuz it would’ve more than sufficed for my usage!

Haha, of coz M2 16gb will be superior to m1 16gb.
I’m just waiting for the M2 pro Mac mini to appear again in the apple refurbished store. It‘s going for around 1.5K

1.5K is a steal for the M2 Pro with 16GB + 512GB + 10-core CPU + 16-core GPU.
Pretty much same price as M2 with 16GB + 512GB + 8-core CPU + 10-core GPU.

That's like a free upgrade...I say go for it!

I think you hate those inverted V gaming type stands is what I think lol!
On a serious note, given that you already have a 27" 2K monitor, it depends on your priorities.

Would you mostly be doing a lot of fast-paced gaming?
If so, it's an excellent choice, given its super high refresh rate, response time, and dimming zones for darker frames.
For gaming, 2K would actually be a good thing as it is easier on system resources.

For mostly productivity/browsing the net, the most noticeable improvement you can make is to get a "retina display" relative to your sitting position.

A 27" 5K display will appear retina at a distance of 40cm.
A 27" 4K display will appear retina at a distance of 54cm.
A 27" 2K display will appear retina at a distance of 80cm.

Really depends on how far you sit from the display.

New M4 mac mini said to be same size or slightly smaller than apple tv but taller. M4 out Sep & M4 Pro in Nov. Hope that’s true . Personally I rather wait for Pro. I’ve edited the thread title
